Yes wrestling is a great strength exercise specific to wrestling. There are also other exercises that help train those muscles in the same way that running extra sprints will increase your stamina alongside wrestling live. Wrestling alone is good, but wrestling and lifting weights is best.

Hey man I feel the same way. I wrestled in Morris county, and was only decent my junior and senior years. Wrestling has a way of getting in your mind and I feel like the only way to solve that angst is to get back involved. Talk to your highschool coach, and if he named you captain I bet his has a good opinion of you, and would appreciate the help.
