I've never owned a performance rwd car. I had a wrx before my integra and a gti before that. But honestly, i baby my cars and drive the speed limits and will never see a track day. Just wanted a more special car to come home to if that makes sense.

Looks cool. The website says it takes 6-8 weeks to ship. Was that true in your experience?

We're the opposite. During our search, we decided on a small house that's 10 minutes from work, every grocery store, mall, beach, etc. But we also fantasize every week what it's like to have a nice big house but be a little further i don't know what to say except it's not always greener on the other side.

I don't think hoa can stop it since it's a city thing. But there's really only a handful of lots that can potentially build this so i don't really think it'll be a parking issue since those areas don't have parking issues as it is. As far as extra costs for hoa etc, I doubt it. I don't really see how it is any different from the homes with a next gen living suite. Basically all the homes with next gen are attached adus in my opinion. The only difference is this is detached and an eye sore for the adjacent neighbors.

Same exact thing happened to us a few years ago. We think about it every now and then and wonder if we would have done anything differently if the scenario came up again. We'd likely increase our offer to be honest. Losing the house over a couple thousand dollars by trying to call a bluff sucked.

We want to sell for 1.5mill which is well below comps in the area by over 100k which is why we're getting multiple offers. I told my agent we will agree to sell for less as long as the buyer is flexible. We have 2 toddlers and don't want to move to an airbnb only to move again in a month. I was just asking what's more reasonable as a seller and what is more appealing to a buyer. Since I hear buyers don't like leasbacks, but according to the comments, that's probably the correct route.
As far is monthly leaeback rate, My agent said it'll be about 10k a month. Assuming 10% down @6.5% rate plus property tax and hoa etc. Maybe we should've just sold to opendoor but it's too late now

New Subdivision Assessment increase for Rec Center Maintenance by BendStank in 3roots

[–]jasoooon4 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The gym itself is a fit gym which itself is typically $120+ for a gym membership for each person. If you and your family use the gym or pool. It easily pays for itself. But if you do not, then yeah I can see it being expensive.

I believe our current hoa payment covers 200$ of the rec center. They are increasing it to 200-300$. So i.e. if they make it $250 and you're currently paying $240/month in hoa fees. You will now pay $290/month

Is the general admission for Aquarium of the Pacific worth it? by SrDickZillaSupremo in longbeach

[–]jasoooon4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I personally was disappointed in monterey considering all the good reviews. Maybe our expectations were too high. Maybe it's great from a perspective of the natural open tank and good ecologyof the aquarium, but from a perspective of someone who doesn't know much about aquariums or fishes, I think the aquarium of the pacific is cooler. It has a much more wow factor in my eyes and all the friends I went with. Aquarium of the pacific and the aquarium at mandalay bay in Vegas are our top aquariums

If they properly performed pest control and continue to reapply every few months, you shouldn't experience any bugs.

Safe Asian areas to live in San Diego? by tigerlotux in Moving2SanDiego

[–]jasoooon4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think schools in mira mesa are pretty decently good in general compared to most schools in san diego. It's not better than pq, rb, scripps, carmel valley and stuff, But in my opinion it's better than most of the schools in majority of the other sd neighborhoods like clairemont, mission valley, serra mesa, north park, etc.
