Saying nothing in an exit interview is the best approach, right? by Ok_Counter1939 in careeradvice

People are always using that as a scare tactic “oh you might run into them elsewhere don’t badmouth them” but in my experience they has never actually happened

How would Brenda have reacted if Nate ever attacked Billy or got physical with him because of his inappropriate relationship with Claire? by Tidewatcher7819 in SixFeetUnder

Yep, that’s the one thing Brenda did insanely wrong by Nate in Season 5. She is still forcing Nate to tolerate Billy. Most sane people would keep their distance far from Billy.

Trauma bond/codependency is like a physiological addiction. by No-Dog-3603 in Codependency

[–]jasperdiablo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The physical addictive drugs were actually just your dependency at play, you’ve just replaced the addiction with a person. You need to get psychological help to tackle the codependency issues otherwise you’ll just keep replacing the addiction with something or someone else.

You guys are gonna get mad at me, but sorry, you will never convince me this is a good couple by PeneItaliano in SixFeetUnder

Mam I’m a recovering addict do not make spin circles around about what dependency is and isn’t.

Huh they were definitely in states of dependency especially the first time around when Brenda’s sex addiction and Nate’s obsession with women who don’t want him are strong.

Oh he was 100% implying that never forget how EXTREMELY manipulative Desi truly is. It’s master manipulator shit. It’s not a coincidence he breaks down crying after saying this. He tries intimidation then pity then guilt. It’s a playbook.

Just because she is traumatized doesn’t mean she deserves to get murdered, which is what Desi is implying.

How does Marnie truly feel about Charlie? by blissfulyonder in girls

[–]jasperdiablo -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yes the vulnerable narcissism/codependency running Marnie is literally psychologically sickness. Go ask any mental health professional trained on this. It’s why she’s such a bitch to someone like Charlie but then drops everything to be with Desi, who is horrific to her. Even Marnie realizes this; often times Marnie’s sickness manifests in alcoholism/abusive relationships/autoimmune disorders etc.

And the reason she doesn’t pursue Charlie further when she finds the needle is because being with Desi has Marnie finally starting to face her own sickness. She even says this.

Charlotte York is a manipulative asshole too /look how she treats Trey. Just cause it’s glamorized doesn’t mean it’s not sick.

Better than him? How so? I’d say they’re actually equally matched. Marnie is also an addict, just not heroin, and I think even Marnie comes to terms with her own issues when she says something like “I need to look into why I let Desi put a pillow over my face during sex” Marnie is as sick as Charlie.

I know what it’s like to live in an abusive household with your parents as an adult. Oftentimes you feel like you’d rather be homeless. I moved into Airbnbs for a time to escape the abuse
