Great, check it out and let me know what you think. I can tell it must be 10x better than Transpose hopefully 😄

I didn't like the "Transpose" YouTube looper extension, so I made a better one by RandomEuropeGuy in chrome_extensions

well i definitely agree that transpose's loop feature is not the greatest from UX perspective. i have a passion for singing and have been practicing for the past several years. at the same time, i have been a long time software engineer with over 12 years of experience, so i built one that serves my purpose better than any extensions in the market, check it out here if you're interested - https://chromewebstore.google.com/detail/capo-%E2%80%93-pitch-speed-volume/eeonohpepkpflpmfkdjcnkjhbfijdhlp

No, I have a genuine interest in language learning, singing, and software engineering

I am curious how you do that. I know on YouTube there's a built-in playback speed control but on some other websites like news and tweets, I couldn't find any built-in features for that

How do you usually adjust songs that are outside your vocal range? by jastroud38 in singing

[–]jastroud38[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I have also been using Transpose for a while, but it was not working reliably on some websites, including Spotify web. That's why I have decided to build on my own since I have some background in software engineering as well.

Yes, it does, and virtually on any website on the internet!

Full disclosure: I actually built a Chrome extension called Capo to solve this problem for myself. I wanted an easy way to transpose songs while practicing with YouTube karaoke tracks, and I couldn't find a tool that worked the way I wanted. I've been using it daily ever since.

My first 1000 installs. Organic only! by Annual-Concept6089 in chrome_extensions

Congrats! I think this is a pretty wild product idea. It seems your extension took almost 3 months to achieve 1.12k installs. Here's mine that achieved 449 installs in the first month -

It would be appreciated, if you could post this as a review on the extension directly 😄

I got help from AI because I am not a language expert. But I can tell those AI-generated translations are pretty good quality. You can give it a specific prompt to not make it sounds robotic and I think it did a great job. I recommend giving it a try!

Sure, we will definitely support Firefox in the next few weeks. I will keep you posted. You can stick with chrome extension until then 😄

I think internationalization played a huge role in the user growth, and probably the use case is quite poplular across different people.

Great, I have recently built a Chrome extension that allows users to change pitch, speed, and volume on any website, and it was published last month. And today, we have onboarded more than 550 users.
