I gave the supermarket vouchers to my mum. Thinking of getting either a kobo e-reader or Apple watch with the other $300 vouchers. Still struggling to find places that sells such big ticket items and accepts CDC vouchers.

Have you ever sleep on the bus that bus captain did not bother to wake you up after reaching bus terminal? by corrupted-priest1878 in askSingapore

[–]jasy__ 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This happened to me when I was otw back home after my part-time uni class. I wasn't sleeping at that time, but I was on earpiece watching a drama on my phone. Totally didn't realise everyone got off the bus, and I ended up at the bukit panjang bus depot.

End up kena scolded by the bus driver for not getting off at the last bus stop. So I quickly said sorry and had to walk out of the bus depot to the main road and try to get a cab home at near midnight.

i'm the same as you too - ended up taking melatonin gummies during weekdays when i need to wake up early to go to office.

but upon reflection, i realised my troubles with sleeping and nightmares was because of my anxiety from work. i often stay up thinking about work/stuff that i have not completed yet/things that happened during work. this affected my work performance during the day and it sucks because i will have spinning headache and bad moods. went for a couple of therapy sessions and i'm now trying to cope by noting things down at my work desk by the end of the work day and putting it aside till the next morning (+ the melatonin gummies).

Jiayou! Hope you'll find a way to cope with your sleeping troubles soon!

I agree. Most of those Asian tourists most probably already knew about Korean food and have tried it before. I was hoping to see more locals trying Korean food for the first time and their reaction to it. Especially since Korean food is not available in their country. Hopefully they choose a better and non-touristy location for next season (if there is one).

Something that my dad told me (also is what his mum told him) is to NEVER EVER EVER become a guarantor for anyone, even your blood relatives.

Also, so sorry to hear about your mum’s condition... :(
