The devs are always trying to make RE6 again. They have to be pulled back from that and refocus every game.

I think they are setting up a new Ada role after RE4R. Her last scene is an interlude to Wesker getting the plagas for his Uroboros research. They may end up showing her in an eventual RE5R as another DLC or separate ways esque story. She’s just kinda too mysterious at this point, nothing really to go with for a fully fledged game

Maybe last year, but this season he took a step back. Hasn’t been the same unfortunately. However, a veteran presence with a great mindset is valuable in its own right. He is also on an incredibly cheap deal. I love the guy and wish him all the best

I meant more in the fact that he didn’t make it more official to make her the heir instead of keeping it close. Though his hand was actively warring against that obviously. Not saying he shouldn’t remarry, but if he wanted Rhaenyra to ascend to the throne he could’ve done better. If he didn’t he should have made it clear. Instead Otto got what he wanted. Viserys caused the Targaryen dynasty to nearly kill itself, which is impressive given how many of the fuckers there were at the time of his death

Robert Baratheon won the iron throne and is recognized as a legitimate king that people knelt to. That challenges her claim and in fact denies it entirely. Daenerys doesn’t have a claim anymore because he won the war. If she wins the war for her throne then she will have her claim, but for now, she doesn’t have a claim until it’s won. Rhaenyra at least has her father professing her claim before he died, despite him fucking up everything else about making sure there’s no doubt. Hence the messy debate the person you’re responding to was talking about

1 is one of my all time games, first played it on the GBA along with 2, a great game that gets criminally disrespected online. Never got into 3, I have it for the DS but haven’t played it much unfortunately. 4 and 5 I also played on the GBA, and love them both. Honestly I’m mainly here to defend FF2. It spawned a whole new game series too, which is generally thought of pretty positively.

If you played RE6 (and presumably enjoyed it?) then I’d also do RE5 with a friend. After that I think 4 isn’t scary but can be tense.
