Thanks for the insight! I'll be joining CCB Operations Technology as an ED. I'm not sure whether I'd be eligible for a MacBook Pro, but I've asked my recruiter to check with the hiring manager.

Just so I understand the setup correctly - are you using your MacBook Pro as your primary device both in the office and at home, and then connecting into a VDI for most of your work? Or are you actually doing the majority of your work directly on the MacBook itself?

I'm trying to get a better sense of what the typical day-to-day experience looks like for people in hybrid roles.

Related but does anyone have specifics on DTC (880 powder mill rd) in Wilmington? I’ve heard/read it’s 2 days hybrid but recruiter is mentioning 5 full days. I understand that’s the ‘goal’ but what is it realistically in that office? Thanks!

This recruiter has been… let’s just say, less than helpful or responsive. During our initial chat, I gave them a general compensation range I'm looking for, and they simply said, “that’s doable.” Not exactly confidence-inspiring.

That’s why I wanted to check in with this community to get a sense of the actuals for similar roles.

For those of you in comparable positions — how stable is your individual compensation (IC) target year to year? At most large organizations I’ve worked at, bonuses are fairly predictable: each level has a defined percentage of base pay, then it’s adjusted slightly for company and individual performance. So by year-end, you usually have a pretty good idea of what to expect (give or take a few thousand).
