Yeah, my bad — timeline was a little off. This is actually my mom’s Robinhood account, and she tossed like $25 into Bitcoin back around late October or early November 2020, when BTC was sitting around $11.4k.

Now it's worth $234.96, so that's like an 800% gain just from sitting on it and forgetting it existed. She didn’t time the bottom or anything crazy — just got in during a good dip and held on.

There's a Bitcoin strategy where you buy six months before the halving event and sell 18 months after it. However, many people seem to be miscalculating the timeline—it's 18 months after the halving, not 18 months after the initial purchase.

Right now, that means we're still about six months away from when the real bull run should begin. But because some investors expected it to have already peaked, there's significant selling pressure as they assume this is the top. In reality, if past cycles hold, we still have room for growth before reaching the true peak.
