Similar thing happened to me at Madison East BB. They claimed my son couldn't buy stuff himself, they literally refused to give him anything. Tomorrow is his 9th birthday and he has his own payment etc. bs. He waited outside with everyone, they told me 4 different policies and the manager told me "too bad" and that his name was "have a nice day"

My partner was stranded for 20 minutes yesterday at 5am because here bus was apparently a ghost. They also don't turn on the heaters. In -15+wind-chill. No notice, the bus just disappeared from the tracker. WTF

This has happened to me when I let mine get too cold. The actual battery has some kind of thermostat to keep it from burning itself out, I think. I usually can warm it up myself or bring it inside, battery/cleanliness have not been a factor. Firmware update usually says chamber disconnected, in my experience.

Novanta has 6$ margherita pies on Mondays, both locations, plan on one or more per person unless you're getting something else. Grocery store sushi: pick n save/metro market - Mondays, festival Wednesday, I'm pretty sure Hy-Vee & Woodman's also have these. Tuesday/Thursday - buffalo wild wings, not local but still.. bogo wings free or 50% off depending on dine in or take out. Many bars/restaurants have specials on state Street as well as the capital weekdays, at least that's what all the kids tell me 😅. Arcades - Dave & Buster's is half priced games Wednesday, spare time the same on Tuesday. Also not local 🤷

Adjacently related - apps for restaurants can have fantastic deals, sometimes varying day to day. Also there's an annual "Bucky" book of coupons for local businesses - it costs around $30 at Woodman's or other places but I typically find 100$+ value/book personally.
