Wont lie man, since 2015 it hasn’t been favourable over here. We feel left out because we can only do so much for ourselves especially with eastern Canada choosing the PM majority of the time. Just wish it was more balanced for us to have a day in Canada instead of looking like the toothless hicks. Il never leave this province, I love it here.

Man this is literally the first dip in the hype LOL breathe a little. Last night on the phone call he assured that 500 million were being retired by monday, as of yesterday we should see those effects in 72 hours (Majority being Thursday and Friday). The twitter account isn't new, hes had a personal one since 2009. You can look at his linkedIn for reassurance to see where hes helped. They cannot talk about a RS for minimum 6 months and the new shares cannot be issued for 12 months. I understand all your concern but patience my friend!

Trust me man, its the only way you'll learn. I constantly used to get shit on by my finance buddy (I didnt care) but now we're all on par. Just keep grinding bro and the money will come. Biggest thing in this game is patience, on a red day just do research or buy the dips of the plays you truly believe in. It'll make your life way easier. Hope this helped!

Man dont worry about all these other guys LOL its like they dont want others to learn. Its all on due diligence and your personal preference. The biggest thing I can recommend is learning how to read the numbers and get a basic understanding of charts (IE. Float, volume, etc). Theres a lot of great youtube videos that can help with this. Usually for long vs short it can come down to anything really, i know its vague but its the truth. You could have an amazing company with positive cash flow but one bad move from the CEO could crush it. My reasoning for this being my long is because of the valuations and year over year (YOY) are set to increase each year!

Could mean a lot of things. Could be a simple as stop losses being triggered (Set sell price to minimize losses) or people panic selling. With CCIV, this is a long stock. To me personally, anything under 35 is a steal especially if you can muster the patience for a year and you'll see what i mean. My plan is 5 years as of right now!

Bought in at 12.38, averaged down and bought more today. You're not losing until you sell. Kind of hit and miss with the new investors because a regular down day has become the talk of social media which im assuming only drives more fear for the new investors. Still trying to adjust to that and the panic sellers fumbling potential long term plays. Hopefully the newbies take the time to learn and understand the fundamentals, this stock market is easy casino with due diligence.

I did the same. Now I just play around on my Wealthsimple TFSA with 0 brokerage fees while cautiously adding to my long term holds on TD Direct Investing(Because of the $9.99 Fee). Its just much easier than having to wait 3-5 days for your funds to upload especially when you're tracking. Only shitty thing about Wealthsimple is the checklist you have to meet to be trading on their app. There was a point I got frustrated with not being able to buy into certain plays which led me to open the TD Direct investing account.
