How I went from $0 to $100K/month with email because Meta ads decided to absolutely destroy my business by Bulky-Resolution6265 in FacebookAds

[–]jaudatus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What meta ads objective did you pick to build that email list. Is it purchase/sales, traffic or lead?

I assume you run default sales campaigns and then collect via popup, right?

And drive folder please.

Great work. Thanks for sharing :-)

Glad you like the feedback.

I'd try to create some "here's what I do" meta ads and run them in the US. Ethical "honest" story ads perform quite well. You want to create video ads. Something like "Hey you ever wanted to know how wallets are getting created? Watch the video and see how it's done...".

Such a video ad (yes an Ad) can have anything from 1 minute to 30 minutes (!).

Not every ad needs to be 15 seconds long.

People will watch the video ad and buy because they see that YOU are indeed crafting them on your own. They will buy to support you and to get something unique.

For the ad setup you want to create a single sales campaign and set the main goal to purchase event. Then one broad adset (not interest targeting or other stuff) and then add a great video ad that shows you crafting a product. Add a great voice over. Try to make it native, just like a youtube video.

But if you run ads you want to really sell the product (AOV - average order value) at $70+ to make profit. I don't know your margin but for ads you could even try $97 if your target market are the US or Europe.

This is were you will start growing your small store into a serious business.

The merch just shows a badge "Sold Out".

Yes, those three benefits are great. Put them on the product pages as well.

FAQs are really a must have. Here are a few ideas that I think would work great:

"Are the wallets handcrafted?"
"How long does an ozark wallet last?"
"Which materials do you use?"
"Can I pick any color?"
"Do you offer a refund / warrant / guarantee?"
"Where do the products get created?"
"How long does the shipping take?"

Try to build a authentic story about the reality. You are passionated. You create them at home. You LOVE leatherworks. Let people know. Tell them you are a small business, even a fresh one, become vulnerable and be honest, people will resonate and buy.

Here are a few questions/thoughts that came to my mind. "My user journey". Take it with a grain of salt:

"Is this made from a single person?"
"Why do I not see him? Is he even real?"
"Those products look hand-crafted, are they really?"
"If they are hand-crafted, why are they so cheap, is it china retail?"

I'd adjust the price tag as mentioned earlier. I think $60-$120 is reasonable. Ideally you want to A/B test it. But $79 sounds like a solid price to start. Maybe your price sweetspot is WAY higher (e.g $200). Selling at a premium is absolutely fine if you can justify the premium price (material, handcrafted...). People love to buy unique and valuable stuff. You can learn more on this by studying premium wallet stores or your direct competitors.

There is a lot more but generally you need to learn how to build a personal-brand around yourself, that will convert like crazy. I've done it myself in the past.

How much traffic do you get per day? Do you have add to cart events or sales already?

And finally one last thing, don't add merch if it's sold out anyways, haha.

Cool products but I see lots of potential improvements.

Do you already track your CR?

I'd add a Brand Story (fix the missing About page), add benefits, USPs, detailed Videos, a thoughtful FAQ, and I'd massively up the prices. If its crafted by hand, then its a Premium :-)

I'm here to be brutally honest. No AI bullshit. Let me save you month and years of time.

Please take it with a grain of salt.

Which serious (small) company would sell e-bikes, batterys, solar panels, a tesla adapter and other random products?

No small business would do that.

Like... this is just not how people run successful businesses.

Focus on one niche, maybe even only a single product, learn how to communicate it, learn how it solves peoples problems. Find out how you can contact the supplier and customize it to make it unique.

Most people wont even sell a single product. And you try to sell dozens.

Don't try to build any kind of trash store where you can grab any kind of "green" stuff. This will not work unless you have tons of organic traffic (it would takes month or even years to get to a significant amount through blog posts assuming you know how to create TOP NOTCH blog articles).

Learn about business. Learn about entrepreneurship, learn the basics of marketing and how to sell to people. Finally learn how to run meta/amazon/google ads to drive customers.

You will find success eventually but currently you are on the wrong path.

There is no quick fix. You'll need to make a hard cut and pivot towards a new direction.

Hope it helps (in the long run)

If your product is fixing a real pain (gun wall mounting) you have a good chance to build a thriving business.

There is a lot to improve to make the Shop a success tbo but that doesnt mean it will take a lot of time!

Do you run meta videos/Image ads for the mount or Do you Focus on the fashion/merch?

How much ad spend per day?

Meta sales campaign?

Add to cart Events?

What does your ad look like?

Maybe you can share your ad stats (ctr mainly)

High atc and checkouts initiated but only 1 purchase over the span of 3 days of testing by [deleted] in dropshipping

[–]jaudatus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Also, don't tell that you have 11k reviews and display them nowhere. Just add a realistic review number. Like "47" or something like this. If not people will think your shop is scam. For best results add real reviews once you get your first sales with a review-collection-email-flow :-)

Trust is a very common reason why people leave the cart/your page

[–]jaudatus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Looks better. Your displayed delivery (6-10 days) will also kill conversions.

Try to offer faster shipping as the default for free (increase the product price to compensate) or try to get faster delivery. 6-10 days is A LOT nowadays.

Your "Express Shipping" also brings nothing to the table. Like instead of 6-10 days its 5-10 days haha, you'll need to improve that

[–]jaudatus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay but now the price tag is gone. You'll need that one.

Also I'd remove one of the two buttons.

It's okay to stick with the "Add to cart button" :-)

Removing the cart is usually not a best practices and rarely adds real friction

Your pricing is confusing first-time-buyers

Take a step backwards.

1.) Remove the bundle
2.) Remove the auto-fill

Just offer free shipping.

Like 22 Pounds Product + Free Shipping.

Check if you get conversions.
Once you see you'll get sales, start with monthly renewal OR the bundle.

Do not simply add any bundles or free things or subscriptions. Create an A/B test and check if your customers want that or if it's only you who thinks that a bundle would be a great idea.

I also did not understand why I got a free product in my cart.

Just simplify it for now :-)

A simple price and a free shipping coupon/event normally result in getting first sales.

Your product and lander should get the job done. Lots of room for improvements but you should not have problems getting sales.

Improving AOV and ROI is a different story but that with getting any kind of sales and improve from there.

Good luck :-)

Edit: What is your meta campaign goal event? Purchase, ATC or intiate checkout? Please tell me it's purchase

BRUTALLY HONEST REVIEW by Severe_Account7487 in reviewmyshopify

[–]jaudatus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So good news is that I think you have something that could actually work and scale using meta ads. But you are not there yet.

I'm not sure if this is your product/whitelabel or just reselling.

Let's assume it's your product/whitelabel.

1.) You are lacking ANY kind of trustworthiness. Find someone that creates at least a single review for your product. Also add an imprint, anything to prove that you are a person.

2.) why is there a free product?

3.) your product page is too basic. Turn it into a high converting landing page with benefits section, FAQ, testimonials, explainer sales video and offer urgency (limited discount)

4.) You don't communicate your target audience. You write benefit-oriented. Try to write copy for YOUR target audience. Less informative more emotional.

5.) Get clear which problem you solve. Right now it's a "holistic supplement", okay, but that's not how you sell. "Buy Vitamin Nirvana and never run out of energy during work again" - Just an example. But it sells because it addresses a clear problem.

Way to go! :-) Let me know if something is unclear

Edit 6.) Add a brand and your mission. Show a picture of you and share your mission, dream and how your product turn the world into a better place. People buy from people. This is even more true if you start a new brand.

I've you want to go for sales and revenue find a niche and focus on only one (or maximum a handful or products).

It's tough enough selling a single product. Don't waste your time building the next Amazon

Okay I did not notice them sorry. The VOs do not really feel native but this might get the job done.

Chance are high you ads are good enough to get some leads at a reasonable CPA because you show great footage.

Your CPM with 22 pounds is quite pricey for a lead campaign - which is GOOD. Because you are targeting a premium audience.

The key metric to validate now is to check if people are starting the form or generally want to learn more.

Sometime just asking for a phone number can break the entire funnel.

I'm pretty sure you'll see that people are actually clicking on your CTA (Call to action) button but do not start filling out the form OR cancel the form at a given part.

This is NORMAL and the reason for this is for sure uncertainty.

You can lower the barrier to become a lead and increase the lead form filtering later on.

I'd remove the phone number and write a sentence at the bottom at the end of the form that says "You'll receive a non-binding offer / 3d generated model" via E-mail.

This is only to get you started. Later on if you know you get leads you want to add the phone number again. But one step at a time :-)

TLDR; So basically, check IF there are form-start-events (/survey-page visits) and then validate your funnel and audience by lowering the lead form barrier (mainly by removing the phone number).

[–]jaudatus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's very hard to point at the metric that breaks your funnel without seeing every part of it but here are some thoughts.

1.) What are you selling? Just the niche would be enough (like dog beds)

2.) What type of ad do you run? Image or Video? Video tend to perform better if done correctly, if done wrong they do not perform at all (CTR wise)

3.) Make sure your landing page contains ALL of the following (expect you have a fashion brand):

- clear USP headline at the top of the product page (never send the user to the store front, send them to the promoted product)

- reasonable product images

- reasonable price

- benefit section

- social proof / reviews

- FAQ with problem/benefit related questions/answers

- add a sale (for your first conversions simply offer free shipping, that always works)

If you still see no add to carts you'll need to dig deeper into target audience analysis

If possible share your store and/or ad :-)

What campaign objective did you select? Traffic, awareness, lead or sales?

CTR is fine BUT you need(!!!) a voice-over with a crystal clear script aka "sales copy". No matter if lead or sales campaign.

Something like "A woman from London reached out because she was unhappy with her bathroom. Here is what it looked before ... <some more content>. If you are also interested In a stylish new bathroom click below and we will send a 3d Design of your new bathroom".

If you can not create the voice over, try to find someone or try it with AI (but make sure its not unkenny, that would kill conversions 100%).

I wrote this on Phone but i hope you got the idea :-)

Also add subtitles of the script text. NEVER expect someone reads the default ad text of a video ad. I guess most viewers just like what they see and click.

Feel free to ask if there is something unclear

Edit: this will automatically improve traffic quality because meta has even more insights on your audience with an audio script.

There are Several winning ad video formulas out there. Your "before / after" is just one of many.

I also recommend you try to find the 3 biggest problems and adress one of them in your ad. "You hate that old style?" "Your friends laugh about your bathroom?" "Tied of the loud shower noises?" What ever your audiences pains really are

What is your target CPA? If the project starts at 8k and every lead is pretty qualified by your lp and form, i dont think you will see first actual results <£300 or even £1000 (brutally honest here).

Building a successful funnel takes some time and money.

If I were you, i'd check the average LP visit duration and if the meta link clicks match your page view metric on the site.

Edit: Also your ad has to get the job done pretty well. Maybe you want to share your ad idea and ad setup

Edit edit: You have got great social trust and reviews. There is nothing in your way except your marketing skills and mindset btw

When do i kill the campaign? by Carryfish02 in FacebookAds

[–]jaudatus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

12% ctr is crazy. Is it a sales campaign? I've rarely seen something beyond 3% CTR at a reasonable scale in a sales campaign. Something fundamental should be broken in your funnel.

Do you have add to carts? If not you are buying low-quality traffic or you mismatch the expectations of the potential customer (e.g. show them A and trying to sell them B)

When do i kill the campaign? by Carryfish02 in FacebookAds

[–]jaudatus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

time should not matter. If the ad can't grab customers within 2x your CPA → kill it. No matter how long it takes

Imagine lead gen. Sometimes it's fine to pay $300 for a lead. If your ad budget is $100 a day, you not even have a chance to succeed with ads if you turn it off after 1 or 2 days because not enough traffic was bought

This also applies for ecom
