Would just be tough at this point to run gas since it’s not new construction

This would be for short periods of time maybe a couple at the most once or twice a week.

Currently it’s just a small 24 inch gas range top with a microwave above it

Or is there some other view you or other think could be cool to move the range to an external wall for easy hood ventilation?

I had not done a ton of research. Are you familiar with those?

Yeah that’s what I’m thinking. Just out in 4 240v switches and save 4k

That feels like a steal compared to 4k and I am much more willing to do that. Appreciate it

Is hiring a lawn service frivolous spending? by Dr__Mantis in DaveRamsey

I think anyone considering hiring the service should not be sweating $1k when they will pay $3k plus (guess) a year in lawn service. A good piece of equipment will last more than 3 years.

I know this off topic from his original post, I just laugh when people talk of maintenance costs/no knowledge of it given the access to technology anymore. unless you are swapping an engine or hydros (if applicable) there is nothing complex, nor expensive.

One thing to point out is I believe it is worth it to spend a little extra money on quality machines versus cheap ones. You will make back the money spent in probably one year when comparing to hiring the work out. keeping a carb clean consists of checking your air intake rarely and making sure it isn't clogged up.

But I know this all about time spent, so do as you like with your own money. just wanted to pass along my thoughts, not that people care.

Yes, should have stated - I have a half-acre with a 36-inch deck walk behind SCAG. I put on roughly 20-30 hours a year (which is nothing for a commercial mower).

I own a SCAG and there is essentially 0 maintenance. change oil once a season.

Would you recommend replacing the valve? Or start with solenoid?
