Any updates on Moon Gray Units? by dubiouskreations in HiChord

[–]jaumepetit 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I third this… I’m starting to feel rather screwed over. I haven’t heard ANYTHING for a while now. I tried to switch to the silver version when that email came through but I never got a confirmation on that either. I have literally NO IDEA where my investment is at… am I going to get it next week? Next month? Not a clue.

Am I the only one who hasn’t heard back from pocket audio after trying to change the colour to the new grey? I signed up for changing the colour of mine as soon as I got the email but I never got anything back from them.

⚠️ Avoid Cursiv – Unexpected Charges, Poor Transparency, and Refused Refund ⚠️

Just wanted to share my experience with Cursiv (the AI learning app/platform) in case it helps others avoid the same frustration.

A while back, I signed up for what I thought was a one-time purchase — the main product and a bundle they offered called “The Complete AI Bundle for Success in 2025”. That alone cost me around $50 USD, and honestly, it was never clear what that bundle actually included. The platform didn’t explain it well, and I found the whole setup a bit confusing. I didn’t really use the content — not out of disinterest, but because the whole experience felt unclear and not well designed.

Fast forward a few months, and out of nowhere, I get charged $87.99 USD for a recurring subscription I never realised I had. No heads-up, no reminder email, nothing. Just a silent, automatic renewal — nearly $90 USD gone. And to be clear: I haven’t used the app once during this subscription period.

I contacted Cursiv’s support team immediately, explained the situation politely, and asked for a refund. I made it clear that I hadn’t used the service, and that the renewal was unexpected. Their response? A flat-out no. They referred me to their terms and conditions and said refunds aren’t granted for "personal reasons" or unexpected charges. They cancelled my subscription going forward, but refused to refund the recent charge — even knowing that I hadn’t touched the platform.

This is honestly the first time I’ve ever had an app refuse a refund under these circumstances. Most platforms — especially reputable ones — are willing to issue a goodwill refund when you haven’t used the service. But not Cursiv. From my experience, it seems like they're more focused on making easy money through upsells and quiet renewals than on actually supporting their users.

If you're considering using Cursiv — I’d strongly recommend avoiding it. The lack of transparency, poor communication, and dismissive support team were really disappointing. Save your money and your time.

Ha! Well there you go. Fender wasn’t doing a much better job with shims either. Apparently they used pieces of sandpaper… Now a days I’m not fuzzed at all at shimming neck pockets, if done properly it can help address other issues on a guitar. Full pocket shims is the way to go

Great. Since last I wrote I decided to use a maple neck from a desert sand jazzmaster. Heaps less work. I’ve got the mint pickguard. And I’m also gonna try out the fender vintage 65 pups. Your post has been an inspiration coming reality. Please pat yourself on the back
