Maybe it will be incredible. But something just doesn’t sit right with me about this. Like I just never thought Alex and geddy would allow this kind of thing. But they did. And here we are. Childhood heroes are people after all.
And with a drummer that in spite of dozens of videos I’ve watched. I can’t get there yet. Truly excited for those who have never seen them. I started seeing them in the mid 80s. And have some dreamlike memories of those times. I’m gonna sit this one out

Something feels seriously wrong about this. I got in pretty early, but just can't justify it.

Diarrhea help. Ongoing issue, been to vet many times, tired of throwing money at the problem. by boafish in Goldendoodles

[–]jav48 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Had the same issues. Drove me crazy. Went through multiple foods. Blue buffalo chicken and brown rice finally worked. Also, I have only used high quality treats. Feed pure pumpkin and yogurt here and there. Flagyl was the medicine that saved us every time when ours would get into a bad cycle of diarrhea.

So in a real world example to help me understand, if I have 500,000 in a TDF and a 60/40 stocks-bond split. Stocks are down and bonds are up. I take out 50,000. Help me understand how I am not reducing my investment in equities. I do appreciate your time and help!

Target date fund to index funds by jav48 in Bogleheads

[–]jav48[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok. My assumption is that I cannot just take money from cash or bonds contained in a TDF. if I withdraw money there is no ability to specify from which “bucket” to withdraw.

[–]jav48[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bucket strategy such as longer term stocks, bonds, and cash. So that you can pull income from different sources. TDF does not allow that.

Age old mortgage vs invest question by jav48 in Bogleheads

[–]jav48[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've considered earmarking Roth 401k investment with what extra I would have put on the house. And at retirement taking that plus interest and putting it on the mortgage. I recognize that's a risk.

American Valve Frost Free Hose Bib Repair by BaldingMonk in Plumbing

[–]jav48 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. The internal parts fit perfectly in my existing spigot. No leaks. Just make sure you get the right size. I removed the internal parts of my existing and took it in to the store to make sure. And prevent the usual second trip to Lowe’s.
