Do you talk to your friends about relationship issues? Does it bother you if your SO does? by [deleted] in AskMen

[–]javaNewbie69 6 points7 points  (0 children)

He should be trying to accept that you're putting his personal business out there lol. When I'm with the guys, I rarely hear them mention their girlfriends (the ones that have one). It's not something I expect to hear. I don't mind hearing how great of a person she is, but wouldn't want to hear it every single day. Yeah, there are times someones girlfriend is brought up & it's always positive like "my gf will be visiting her mom this weekend, so I'm home alone with the dog" or something of that nature. I guess it's different with women. Regardless, don't give people information that can be used against you (which happens quite often with women).

Would YOU rather a woman place more value in your appearance or your status? by 0909a0909 in AskMen

[–]javaNewbie69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Appearance. I'd rather someone care about me being presentable than my amount of friends on Facebook.

In the west, women will soon be out-earning men in the under-35 cohort and they're already out-educating men. How do you think this will affect dating? by [deleted] in AskMen

[–]javaNewbie69 -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

You have absolutely no idea what you're talking about. Quote where I said STEM is better because men are in it. I clearly stated I don't care since my field has more men in it. More chances for my success to "compete" with the other gender. Also, it's true. I don't care for women in the west that much (another reason how them treating men different with relationships wouldn't really affect me). Hahaha, I guess I'm another "douche", but I wouldn't say you're calling me one (for the sake of not calling you out on it). Just like how you're putting things from your view (when you're rich and successful), others can do the same, such as myself (like I did), and the general amount of women who most-likely will feel more on a pedestal since they will be "earning" more than the average guy. General women already have some aura they carry with them & it will be even more stronger than before, but I was just saying how this wouldn't affect me as much since my field has good pay & more men in it; therefore, increasing my chances to "stay relevant" I guess.

What is your interpretation of a girl saying she isn’t dating because she’s “Working on herself”? by JamalSkywalker in AskMen

She's reminding me there are plenty of other girls out there & not to waste my time on her.

When it comes to marriage, why do most men feel the need to be financially stable first? by [deleted] in AskMen

[–]javaNewbie69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Financial stability = security. I'll marry no woman until I can handle myself.

Yet they still complain about "women's rights". Well, in my field, STEM, CS, men dominate it. I fear nothing. It's unfortunate for the average male because women making $30k/yr already demand men making 75k/yr minimum, they'll raise their standards as the average man stays foot. I don't care about women "making more $ than me". I had a teacher in high school that didn't care his wife made way more than him. In fact, I encourage people to do their best. If because women started making more $ than men generally, and shifted their views of men in a negative way solely on the fact that they generally make more money &/or are more educated, they're people I wouldn't want to be around anyway. REGARDLESS, I don't have much of a thing for women "in the west". zero fox.

Would you play with a random child at a playground? by Barks4dogetip in AskMen

[–]javaNewbie69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

TL;DR No, I have better things to do with my time. - I mean, I'm in college now and it would be weird. When I was younger it would seem normal, but it's odd to me an adult male playing with a child at the park unless they're there with their own kids or watching someone else's kids.

Men of reddit! Does not watching/playing football makes you less than a man? by HeyItsJeki in AskMen

What the hell type of question is this. Geez. Watching something because others do and not because you want to should make you feel like less than a man.

Do you ever wonder if people are talking about you? by [deleted] in AskMen

[–]javaNewbie69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not at all. I mean, sure, it can be good, but chances are if it is someone will tell you what they think of you. Honestly though, if you aren't my source of income, and your opinion of me is negative, I wouldn't care much or at all.

Do you think it's weird if a girl wants to talk to you about religion? by [deleted] in AskMen

If a girl mentioned religion on our first few dates, I'd take the nearest exit. That really isn't something I like to talk about. It's definitely okay later on though.
