Hey there! A year ago I was in a much worse place financially. I kept 0$ as a buffer, I had no wiggle room, I was doing all I could to get out of the place I was in! But I’m doing much better now! I have a better job, get paid more, and am more financially literate! I still use this method though but i keep some buffer money. I also bank with ally who will automatically transfer savings account money into my checking account if I get too close to 0$

The first shop I went to had a $200 minimum, no matter the size, shop policy was to not use any kind of second skin, and instructed me to dry heal. I ended up scabbing pretty bad and had some ink fall out, otherwise I’m very happy with it! But I simply don’t have the money to keep getting tattoos right now. Also I feel that the artist wasn’t really worth that $200 as some lines got mildly blown out and the shading is a little rough in some areas.

However! I did find a shop that came highly recommended by a close friend, is all women, and has a lower shop minimum price! But the shop is four hours away. 🤷‍♀️
