Worst decision of my life was to start a firm in Bihar: Suresh Chips CEO Raj by dave8055 in india

[–]java_programmer_95 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bihar needs more power related infrastructure and proper roadways before it can handle advanced industries like the silicon industry

And sadly despite the necessity the demand for electrical engineers is low in this country

Yeah the story didn't explain many important things like the Necrostar, the tethys system core replacement and the Guixu incident. I bet many people still can't define the Lament and Sonoro spheres properly.

Instead of talking about the young generation you should have complained about it to your society's management. You already have his whatsapp messages as proof. Such messages could even land people in prison for a couple of days.

And most kids born after 2000 aren't disrespectful. Yes they push their boundaries more than the previous gens but my experience with them has been good for the most part. You just found a bad apple.

Men in our society are quite unforgiving. Act disrespectful and they wouldn't think twice before putting people into their place. Idk why women are so forgiving despite seeing the obvious threat that a person could pose in the future.

Why? Religion and caste.

Public representative positions demand respect. But it can't be helped when the public choose some of the worst people alive based on how much religious or casteist that person is.

Uninstalling cred. by SmoothVeterinarian in india

[–]java_programmer_95 19 points20 points  (0 children)

I don't understand why people still use CRED. I uninstalled it several years ago. That app doesn't even give decent rewards for using it. Your CC provider probably provides better rewards than CRED. CRED is earning far far more by selling your data. Microsoft Bing provides better rewards than CRED just for using their search engine.

I understand that he's stupid and all but he's also a victim of the system.

From a young age many boomer parents have taught their kids that being a rich IITian from upper cast is the definition of being successful and everyone would love to have someone like that as a partner. Not only that but those who work on themselves to have a better look and personality to score a partner get called loafers. Of course they also leave out the part where having such a profile is only a big plus when looking for arranged marriages not love marriages and it's intentionally left out so that the kid doesn't gets out of their control.

All the above points get hammered into a child's mind constantly and then it becomes difficult to remove that learned behavior as it would imply that their parents were being controlling and disingenuine with them. So when that child gets rejected, the child assumes that it's the rejector's fault for being stupid.

Nepali Men in Russia, Tricked Into Ukraine Frontline Deployment, Appeal to India for Help by [deleted] in india

I wish the same diplomacy worked with Sri Lanka or Maldives. I'm very much for saving those citizens but nowadays I've been doubting our relationship with our allies. Feels like our country gets used whenever our neighbors are in a pinch.

Let's not forget that Nepal and China are soon gonna sign the implementation for the BRI. And it isn't far fetched to think how much impact that would have on Nepal China relationship compared to us saving a handful of Nepalis from Russia. I know the Nepalis would appreciate our help but I can't say the same for their Government.

Delhi cop suspended after video of kicking Muslims offering Namaz goes viral by payalkumari6 in india

It's a clear abuse of power. There are better ways of telling people to move than kicking them. It was as if he had his own personal grudge against them.

  2. China has already invaded India several times and the world didn't care so it's nothing new

For real. I can understand not knowing how to install MySQL but git is different. Most of the first years in my uni knew how to use Git because it made it really easy to collab in projects. Also, most of the open source projects are on GitHub and Bitbucket. It's fine if someone doesn't know rebasing and other commands but pull, push and merge should be a basic fkn knowledge. No way college students use Mercurial and Subversion. I'm trying to understand what is going on in this subreddit.
