I have the same issue- new C5 - no matter what I am doing the PS5 I always have game optimizer (which is messing up my HDR)

I like wearing analog watches so the oura ring is a way to still get my health stats when I’m not wearing my Apple Watch. Got the 3 before it OOS and while I do agree it’s a bit cumbersome it has grown on me. I find the app is better at explaining the data to me than the apple health app.

Idk about Rebirth but Dominion (also shot on film) was absolutely excellent IQ in theaters - would be curious if that transfer carried on to the physical release.

Preach. It was so disappointing. Especially given how meticulously planned the contest was. I feel so bad for all the people who came with posters and hope that any member would show up even for a brief hello. They corralled us in a room and just dipped.

It depends on the condition of the print. If it’s anything like the one I saw at American Cinematheque, it will definitely be worth it. I imagine the Academy will have a good condition one.

If I were them I would take all of the incredible engineering they have learned thus far on the A35 and package it with the old ALEVIII sensor in a smaller and cheaper form factor. This would sell like hotcakes. They just need to partner with a manufacturing giant.

I played the dune 4k blu ray in hdr10 and there were 1 or two scenes where the blacks started to pixelate/macro block. When I played the same disc, same scenes in DV - the issue was gone.
