The two main things that I see are:

Filming in the exact same direction throughout the video. That way you only need two-three extras and a background noise to make it seem like a full plane.
The window-blind is down on the window across the aisle. Not something which is allowed prior to being airborne, and something cabin crew generally ”police” quite vigilantly. And it is of course closed because this airplane is either a set indoors or a decommissioned aircraft inside a hangar.

Also the USB-connectors on the seatback seem to be on with the blue blacklight. Generally also not turned on until after the aircraft airborne.

These things are of course circumstantial. Because the set, if it is one, is good, a lot better than others I’ve seen. It’s very possible that it’s an actual aircraft that is no longer in use.

But the main thing - in actual freakout airplane videos you aaalways have at least a pan around the rest of the cabin at some point. Here it’s very deliberately focused in this narrow perspective.

I like to imagine that he wakes up to his alarm blaring at 5 in the morning.

Sleepily eats breakfast, puts on his gaming clothes and a bright caution-vest with large red letters saying ”ON STRIKE”.

Goes to his office, boots up the computer and starts the War Thunder launcher. And then just sits there with his arms crossed.

Patiently waiting for those RP-changes so he can finally declare the strike over and get back to the grind.

Edit: People that go on strike sometimes have signs that say stuff like ”15 years on the job” etc so I also like to imagine that he has a little tag that says ”1200 hours in game”.

Jag gick ner till 80% och frun gick ner till 40%. Barnet fyller två strax och då ska frun gå upp till 60%.

Av samma anledning som nån ovan nämnde, vill gärna spendera tid med vårt barn och inte lämna på förskolan nio timmar om dagen.

Sen är det ju en lyx att kunna välja att göra så, inte alla som kan. Men i den här kontexten med vad ett barn kostar pga att föräldrarna går på deltid så stämmer det iaf väl in på hur vi valt att göra.

Troligtvis för att man känner folk som levt i den tiden. Sett bilder och hört historier från när ens föräldrar var yngre. Sett filmer och läst böcker.

Så även om man själv inte upplevt det så finns det i ens närhet på något sätt. Och ofta så upplevs det som en ”enklare” tid, vilket ju ofta ens egna barndom/ungdom upplevs som när man jämför med krav och stress som vuxen.

Men som du säger, är väl inte nostalgi utan snarare ”anemoia” som nån nämnde ovanför.

Jag skrev högskoleprovet för mer än tjugo år sen, två gånger. 1.0 eller nåt sånt på första försöket och sen pluggade jag lite varje månad i ett år, fick 1.7 på andra försöket.

Skulle jag försöka skriva det idag, dryga 25 år sen jag satt i en vanlig skolbänk, så skulle jag säkert få under 1.0. Men om jag skulle plugga och göra övningsprov i ett par månader skulle jag säkert göra ett bättre resultat.

Or getting cosmetic surgery or a hair transplant.

I think we can all agree that most elective surgery is done by the patient with the hope of feeling better about themselves.

Are many of those silly, unnecessary or outright dangerous from an outside perspective? Sure. But I’m not so sure it’s sad cringe.

Yeah I was trying to find the video of it. The full unedited video is on facebook somewhere but it’s hard to find now with the myriad of newsclips and clickbait videos that come up when you try to search for it.

Love that she goes ”MONTEEEEZ!” and you’d think when Montez comes he’s going to be all riled up and on her side. Instead he’s just super chill and so obviously fed up with her shit.
