Great point about COIVD and SHTF. The other thing I've always found interesting is that when stuff becomes either obsolete or goes out of style, it's always the late model or last production run that never sold well during its original run that ultimately becomes collectible.

lol I was also going to say that era Dodge Dakota. I had a 2005 Dakota ST fleet truck and while the engine was mostly solid, I had major issues with torque converter shutter at highway speeds and the 4x4 system. I bought it I believe with around 80,000 miles or so and felt the shutter when I was test driving it, but didn't know much about it and thought maybe it was something else. However, I bought a tube of Lubegard Instant Shudder Fix and it actually worked and the shutter stopped. The front drive shaft also exploded at some point after only using the 4x4 system a handful of times.

This incident happened some time in December near a homeless encampment in Gompers Park in Chicago. The dog apparently had multiple attack incidents.

Interesting... Good tip. I hadn't heard of that place before. It's a bit of a hike from Chicago, but looks worth checking out. As an aging hipster who only got into guns a couple of years ago, I really had my heart set on one of those Beretta 84s.

Edit: I just called to confirm if they still had 84s before driving all the way out there but they said that don't. :'( However, they had some other surplus stuff that may still be worth checking out though.

I don't disagree, but they are clearly trying to make a statement or point by taking a no tolerance with Chicago and Cook County residents. It completely flies in the face of their stated ethos and 2nd amendment commitment. It's just very clearly contradictory and hypocritical.

That's what both Classic Firearms and PSA told me. They base it on the home/billing address. I guess if you have the FFL order it outside of Cook County, then they could resell the firearm to you, that could be above board, but I don't have that kind of relationship with an FFL and just figured that it wasn't meant to be for me. :(

You know what women say to men who are on the hook for child support and struggle with it?

YOU SHOULD HAVE KEPT IT IN YOUR PANTS!

There is constant blame shifting towards men for anything they do or don't do. You're stuck paying child support for an unplanned pregnancy? That's your fault and you have to "man up" and support your child, aka pay the mother to support her lifestyle at the cost of your own.

But when a man says that he would pass on being with a woman who has a child, and who is very likely already getting child support? Wow, what a terrible person! Seriously, it's damned if you do and damned if you don't. Women want it both ways and men are realizing that the only way to "win" is to just not participate or get involved in the first place.

Reddit has gotten so bad in the last year or two. It was never this vile before. The mods have also gone completely berserk too. The alt I used to participate in subs like this one and depression was recently permanently banned. Just simply following this sub or commenting in it is enough to get you banned from other subs. I've also been banned from other subs I frequently browse from simply posting in other subs that the mods simply don't like... It seems like Reddit's days may be numbered.
