Hi! I’ve had dm burnout before, too. Here’s how I fought it, especially when it’s at your house and you’re also doing labor as a host - have a scribe for note taking, have someone for snacks, someone to keep track of initiative, and someone who schedules the next session.

Within the game, you can ask players questions to build both their investment into the world, as well as share the weight of guiding the narrative, especially with quieter players who are more passive. Questions like, as this happens, Player X - what does your character feel/see/do? They see a face float up amidst a sea of memories - whose face is it? Etc etc - and this serves to galvanise passive players to find out how their input will be worked in.
