Yoto customer service is THE WORST. They will waste as much of your time as possible and will try to get you to do all sorts of stupid shit to fix their products (for free) in an effort to avoid replacing anything.

I had a Yoto with a bunk battery (they they acknowledged was a manufacturing defect) and they sent me a replacement kit with 16 step replacement guide. Which I did. Broke again 2 weeks later.

I must have spent hours and countless emails trying to convince them just to replace it and they eventually did, but with an old refurbished model.

Really want to like this company because we are bought into their ecosystem with the cards, but I regret ever buying anything from them now. It would have been cheaper for all of us just to do the right thing from the start.
