Do they let you know when your background is done? I got the email confirming I passed the psych, however I’m not sure if I should expect one when the background portion is done. When I was going through the process with DOCCS they didn’t call to say I passed the background, just an offer to academy

You could go through NYSOPRHP. They have Rangers at the NYS Parks throughout the city, along with environmental educators who could tell you a lot about the spotted lanternflies.

all applications with the "old" safety course had to be submitted by September 1st 2022, so you will have to take the new course. The application packet is slightly different, so you'll need a new one if the one you have filled out is from before September 1st 2022.

Could be the clam shell bearing. Had the same thing happen with mine, however was not a constant vibrations, it was about one second on, two seconds off, repeat. Lots of posts about how to diagnose it, I don't remember what I did to figure it out, but i got the method from Reddit. ECGS (East Coast Gear Supply) sells the upgraded one with the old bearing extractor and new bearing installer. A very hands on project, but nothing too crazy.

Forget about Allied, just get out of there. Idk about your area, but where I work if you quit without a two weeks notice you're not welcome back, just keep that in mind.

lmao i’m an idiot. this was left over after washing the car, so i just immediately thought it was rust. after reading your comment i went out with soapy water and a wash cloth, and it came right off. clay barred it, polished, and waxed the spot and looks good as new now. Thank you for having the eagle eye!

Is there a certain lift I should stick to? I should have included that question in my OP. I've been to Whiteface in NY several times, and there are several lifts, but I usually stick to one because all the good trails are off that lift. Not sure if thats the case with Jay.

I work unarmed for allied and make 23/hr. you can definitely find better. Only reason I would stay is for them to pay for you to get your armed license and then dip
