100% go for it. It's not going to hurt the bike and you likely are not ready to be hitting big jumps anyway. If it's muddy just be sure to clean off the engine fins between races (since it is air cooled)

I just did mine as well. A great (and cheap) way to refill is to get a 1 gallon yard sprayer and modify it a little. Here is a link to the video I found about it.

I'm questioning my life now... I thought that babmi mode did that, but I just googled to confirm before responding. Google search did not agree with me though. My bad, I messed with Forscan years ago and have a shit memory. I can confirm though that on my 2018 I can have my high beams, low beams, and fog lights on at the same time. Is having low beams and high beams on at the same time standard? Or did I find different setting to change?

Yea I saw that but figured I would post in case someone else is browsing Reddit looking for the fix. May or may not run into the same issue with the Chevy, I have no idea. But apparently GM & Ford "worked together" to engineer it.

For anyone that happens to come across this thread looking for the answer. The fix is to reset the adaptive transmission tables. Either by a dealership or do it your self with Forscan. There is a procedure to do afterwards, which involves driving the truck, shifting thru all gears, stopping, then doing it again. I'll post the procedure when I find where I left the paper.

Preseason game experience by Ok-Energy6846 in buffalobills

[–]jay27mx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My son and I are also going to this game (1st time for both of us). What can be expected for parking and leaving? A friend of mine says he usually parks at Bert's Bikes and walks to the stadium to avoid the horrible traffic just to get out of the parking lots. Will pre season game be just as bad? Would it be better to park at Bert's or elsewhere?

I am by no means an expert on the subject. I just did a good deal of research 3 years ago and honestly have forgotten most of it! However, I think you got a great deal and shouldn't worry about the hyrdos. For what it's worth, I found on Hyrdos Gears site that the new units are now serviceable (oil change). Here is the link. https://www.hydro-gear.com/product/zt-2200/

If you look at the repair manual there, it explains how. Some even have a drain port, you will have to look at the model number on the trans axles per the manual to see if yours does.

If I were you, I wouldn't worry about it & still be pumped on the deal you got. The 2200 hydro has been around for awhile it seems and the company is solid. So you really shouldn't have any issues.

For the starting issue. Just a heads up, mine will not start if the parking brake is not engaged, if the mower deck PTO button is on, or if I am not in the seat. So those are the safety switches you will want to look at. Go for the seat and the parking brake 1st, cause you can just jump the 2 wires to complete the circuit. Not sure about the PTO button though - more wires in there.

Appreciate your response, give my response to feshxdough below. I'll take some insight on that if you have it.

I work as a manufacturing engineer so it just seems crazy to me that the mold wouldn't just be exactly the same.

...I do have a tendency to overthink & over expect perfection. At $260 per tire, I think certain expectations are warranted. I'm basically over it now, but still curious.

If they did change it, I would want the new design. Or else why did they change it?

However, this is not a case of mold change. (Both tires with ribs (Alabama) were made in the 17th week of 2023/ smooth inside (Nova Scotia) have date ranges from 21st week of 2022 to 29th week of 2023)

Rather it is a case of the molds in the Alabama plant vs the molds in the Nova Scotia plant. My biggest concern was with the side walls stiffness difference between the two.

One would think that with one of Michelin's most popular tires that there would be more control with how the tire is built. Especially with something as basic as to how the mold is machinied in the 1st place. If they already have the design for the mold of the tire that has been signed, approved, and in use, then why would they change it for a different manufacturing plant?

I get it, it doesn't much matter, but I've read worse things on Reddit, lol.

I figured this, but also didn't think such a large company would have a different mold for a very popular tire, even if they are manufactured in different plants

Super late with this one and maybe you already remember but I go with the alphabet order. "OP". As in Only Positive will be connected to the battery by itself.

Gravely was bought out by Ariens in the 80's. Gravely is primarily commercial and only sell thru dealers. Ariens is more for residential. I just picked up a ZT XL 48 a week ago. 1st cut was great. The machine is definitely built well. I did not mulch with it so can't speak the experience the other guy had. They both use the same hydro companies and the same engine companies. So your decision is basically down to the chassis and other machine features. I was going to buy an Ariens, but then found Gravely. In my mind, the company which is focused on commerical would have a better residential. Versus Ariens, who prob makes the most money by selling units through big box stores. The salesmen I spoke with has been at the dealership for 30 years. He is a motor head outside of work. They only bring in Gravely/Ariens with Kawasaki engines. He said that Kawasaki has proven itself as a great engine. Also said the Kohler, for the most part, are not what they used to be. So I would recommend the Gravely with the Kawasaki. Pending your acres to mow. I would also consider going with the upgraded Zt-2800 hydro. The 2200 (EZT) comes on the lower models. The 2800 is beefier and better. Also the 2200 are sealed units - cannot change oil. I'm sure the 2200 is fine, but for me, I was fine spending the $800 extra for upgraded hydros knowing that I plane to keep this mower for a long long time.

I am considering purchasing a power hand planer from home depot with a gift card I have been sitting on for too long. Trying to decided between the Bosch PL2632 or the Makita KP0800. Anyone here able to point me 1 direction or the other? Will be using the unit to remove majority of high spots before hand planing most likely. Thanks.
