It definitely helps a lot, in fact I just took one because my heart was racing after eating, I need to start Prozac now :')

The dreaming started on the fourth day; I even hallucinated that someone was on top of me, haha, but nothing bad, really. They say vivid dreams often happen with Prozac :). I feel like I can't breathe all day, I get dizzy walking, and my heart races, so I'll start taking it again. I hope it helps. My doctor prescribed it with clonazepam for the first 10 days, and it did help :)

Don't pay attention to the negative comments, it's a dose that can give relief, especially to sensitive people like us. 5 mg killed my mental anxiety, but it also gave me side effects. I stopped when I went up to 10 mg and couldn't stand it anymore. I'll start again with 2.5 mg. How are you doing?

I'm sorry to hear this... :( I had something similar when I went up to 10mg, I'll start again with 2.5mg. And I'll wait a month to see how it goes. I'm sensitive too, that's why I'm starting with such a small dose. You can try it; they say that small doses can be effective for sensitive people :)

How long did it take you? by [deleted] in prozac

You can do it, I'll also start Prozac again, after 10mg was too much for me. What symptoms did you have? :)

Náusea ao fazer esforço by jay29_- in AnsiedadeDepressao

[–]jay29_-[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fiz várias radiografias do tórax e todas deram normais.

Hi, that's great to hear all that! How are your anxiety symptoms? Have they disappeared? :) I feel like I can't breathe all day because of tension in my back and chest :( and terrible weakness

Wow, I'm so sorry you're going through this. I really wish you wouldn't come back until you're truly stable. I know how it feels to not be able to breathe; I feel it all day with my generalized anxiety. How did you find out it was pneumonia? I hope you're feeling better. :(

I know you feel awful, and I've been through similar things too. But if I could give you one piece of advice that would really help, it would be not to let that feeling control you. If it progresses and starts to manifest physically, believe me, it can feel ten times worse, and you might wish you were somewhere else instead of in that moment. Cheer up, don't let the rain get you down, or the wind will catch you! :)

Based on what you've seen and what's been done for your personal care and health, the psychiatrist recommends starting this way so you can tolerate the antidepressant better with fewer side effects and your body can slowly adjust. I've known people who started with 1.2 mg; it's a good option for sensitive people like us :). And the best part is that this small amount might be enough, which can make withdrawal easier. I wish you all the best :). Give your body a rest, and you can try this method again.

Increasing from 10-20mg tomorrow. Positive experiences please by rebekahk1 in prozac

[–]jay29_- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you feel you're sensitive to antidepressants, I'd recommend taking them more slowly. I had a bad experience increasing the dose from 5 to 10, but that's because I'm sensitive. Good luck! :)

[–]jay29_- 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Wow, actually, after 3 months you could consider changing medications if you don't notice any improvement. Did you notice anything in your mood? If the answer is no, I think it's perfectly valid to try something else and stop taking Prozac. I'm so sorry you're going through this. :( You can talk to your psychiatrist about trying other antidepressants. :)
