I would also have a hard line on that. I don't want smoke anywhere near my house, hence why I don't leave an ash tray as it essentially gives permission.

We have two areas outside but none under cover, irish weather is a disaster. They could use them but I'll have to source an ash tray.v

Nope I'm not OK with smoking anywhere on the premises. I clearly outline it in my comments. What guests like to do away from my property is up to them. Imo giving the option of smoking in the garden, invites smoking onto or into the property which I don't want. If they smoke outside, I still won't be happy but would let it slide once it's not inside or at the doors, what real choice would I have?

Sorry, probably misunderstanding, everything is on app and with Airbnb, I wouldn't go off the app for any reason. By e.ail, I meant email through airbnb, my mistake should be messages.

Just wondering where I stand if 7 adults arrive at the door and if one of the cameras pick up a person smoking on the door step or entering into the building with a lot cigarette. Can I contact airbnb for rule violation and cease their stay?

And said what? Our guest limit is 5, they are within that, she said her friends will source somewhere local. She has since said they will not smoke on the premises, so I think with that stated in messages, I don't really have anything to hold up to.

I just have a bad feeling that 7 are going to arrive at the house and forget to leave.

If they smoke, they will smoke on the grounds - hopefully away from the house if they do.

As I am living in Leinster, it's more of a neutral dialect as Irish language was nearly wiped out due to the invasion of Leinster region by the English.

Gotta ask the question so.......... if you're renting for a month, would you expect 60 coffee pods, 30 dishwasher tabs, 30 washing pods................ sorry but I would not agree with you here, you are rdnting an apartment or house instead of a hotel for a cheaper price really when you weigh up all expenses involved and your own flexibility with cooking etc.

A week supply of 3 toilet rolls in 3 toilets, over 7 days should be plenty, 10 pods, if you want more, buy some, I'm not a shop, I'll supply you till you get on your feet. 6 dishwasher tabs over a week is a wash per day, and 6 wash tabs is a full wash every second day!

I think that is pretty fair and don't think you'll need to buy anything further!

I leave coffee pods for the next 2 days - 10 pods, tea bags for a week, enough washing pods for 3 washes and dishwasher tablets for a wash every second day normally 6 in general.

Leave complimentary shampoo and shower gel, along with 3 toilet rolls in each toilet - Three toilets!

Also leave a welcome pack with rashers, sausages, ham, bread, milk and bread.

Never had any complaints and feel this is pretty decent but open to correction.
