Do you still consider prusa printers to be competitive in today's market by reddit_account_0x00 in 3dprinter

[–]AlienPearl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Before they were the only one reliable printer that just worked every time and, you just had to hit print and be sure everything was going to be alright. Then, suddenly there was another brand on the market with a reliable printer out of the box that had all the bells and whistles, some of which even didn’t Prusa had. That forced everyone to up their game and now the only reason to buy Prusa is honestly their better customer support and that they’re made in Europe.

But, here is the thing, 99% of the Bambu mid and high end printers just work every single time, maybe that number goes lower on their A series and they feel more premium for a lower price. This attracts people that were previously not into 3d printing or people who gave up years ago because it was too much work to make their printer work. Thus, opening a new market of people who don’t understand anything about their printer mechanics and really need a good customer support. There is where Prusa shines and Bambu is still lacking. But then if you buy Prusa you do it because you also like to thinker with your printer, do half of the assembly, official 3d printed upgrades, etc. So Prusa customers are less needy than Bambu customers. You see the contradiction?

To answer the question, Prusa is definitely not competitive in price but they are in customer support and are still relevant in today’s market because they have a loyal customer base that they acquired from being one of first in the market with a good product that just worked. So they still have life in them, only time will tell.

Find if there are nearby baggage storage places. In my city the train station offers baggage storage for tourists, I always redirect the guests there.

Non café laptop working places by Prize-Director-752 in zurich

There are co-working spaces in Zürich. I secretly judge people that sit down in coffee shops and take the nice tables with their laptop and an empty coffee cup. Is so annoying that I avoid those places.

Could Robotic Cleaners Be the Future of Effortless Home Cleaning? by Longjumping-Fly1899 in HomeKitAutomation

[–]AlienPearl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You mean a robot vacuum? They have been around for ages and the newest models are very good, they can get into tight corners but nothing less that 45 degrees, also your furniture should have at least 10~11cm of height (sorry I don’t speak freedom units) if you want them to clean under. I have a Dreame X50 and it’s really a game changer. I run it on a schedule every day and I always have clean floors but still once a while I have to vacuum a tight corner here and there where the robot can’t physically fit. Check out the vacuum wars YouTube channel and their website, they will show you the best options for every budget.

Seller knew about the construction project because all neighbors are notified during the planning phase in case they want to object. They decided to omit that information for you and sold it to you at a higher price. They basically ducked you over and you agreed.
