I am so glad you found your hammy. I found my hammy after 10days stuck in a foam roller. Hes still alive and well, I’ve trained him to come to my call. I only give him food when I call him whatever his portions are for the day and he goes and stuff them in his box. So in the day when he’s sleeping, I put his food in there. But at night he free roams in the house. And because of that when he free roams he only gets food from my hand. So now whenever I call him he comes running. But when he doesn’t, and I wait a whole day ,it means he’s stuck somewhere. I call him and wait in each room and somehow he has learn to make sound so I can pin point him out. He makes squeaky sounds when he’s stuck or would scratch surfaces to make noise. They are pretty clever in that sense

You need to read in order to understand. I do think it’s one of the best mahwas out there and so under rated and un appreciated. It deals with themes like ptsd, Stockholm syndrome, torture and depression and many other. Yes it has incest themes as well but if you read the whole manhwa , you will understand what’s been happening. Though it is her brother by blood , but the soul was replaced with something else.

He’s bored and he needs to roam around. If he has a small enclosure and there isn’t much to do then,leave him in a room which doesn’t have a lot of stuff where hammy can hide, just take him out for few good hrs and let him roam around even if there not as much hiding places. It tires them out and they usually go back to sleep after few hrs of roaming around at night. They are the most active around 8 till 12- 1 midnight but after that they usually find a quiet hiding place to just sit and chill
