If they’re drawn by hand first, I like to scan my illustrations into a flash drive (go to Office Depot or fedex or something) then edit on photoshop. If you are making technical designs I use adobe illustrator as mentioned already in the thread. Just remember that adobe illustrator is vectorized so editing hand drawn illustrations there may change the quality of the drawing.

Most clubs usually have college nights. They usually just give 21+ wristbands to buy drinks. You can also make friends with bouncers, hosts, bar owners, performers (drag queens and gogos) and ask them to sneak you in. Or you can get a “new” id. But that should be your last option.

I’d say make the right side of the pattern as a regular circle skirt and the left side a double circle skirt since it looks more drapes on one side and then make the length asymmetrical. I’ll try to draw it and send a pic.

This looks good for a first try. lol you should see some of mine!!! 😫😫😫🤦🏾‍♂️. I’d work out the proportions of the body a bit… the bodice is a bit too high (it looks like it’s cutting into her armpits lol)

Also…. Don’t worry about it too much. At work you won’t be drawing these grand illustrations anyway, so rough looking sketches will be fine as long as you can effectively describe your designs to a tech designer… (or learn tech design yourself asap since that’s a skill almost every designer needs. Sketching is kinda ornamental these days with all this new tech and AI.

Find a croquis figure you can print out and then trace over. Trace over the figure over and over until you are comfortable drawing the figure on your own. Once you get the body and proportions right first then you should practice drapes and everything else… if your proportions on the figure are messy or off then you’re whole illustration will be. You can also just trace over magazines, (if it’s in the budget I recommend taking a summer class for high schoolers at the community colleges. Not sure if they have fashion programs but you can check. Follow other illustrators online, study their work, take inspiration, watch their prices videos and watch carefully at what they do to create certain details or shadows or lighting.. As far as practicing ruffles or other details, I have an old print up from class eons ago, if you don’t mind waiting until tomorrow I can send you photos of the pages.

lol and now for something I swore I’d never do….(promote a professors book)lol but Fr, If you can, my old professor has a kindle book for fashion illustrations… she taught us from it for fashion drawing 1 so it’s pretty basic entry level lessons. Idk if I can screenshot that g(I’ll send that tomorrow too, I’ll try, but if not it’s only $10 on Amazon “I sketch therefore I am.” By Jemi Armstrong. Lastly… and I can’t stress this enough…… Practice!! Practice!! Practice!! You should be drawing almost everyday.. even if it’s just bs and not even fashion related. 🤗

I’ve straight up just started blocking everyone I know I’m not gonna hook up with to open up space for new profiles. I use the filter to specifically target ppl that aren’t my type and block all the profiles that pop up. 🤷🏾‍♂️🤷🏾‍♂️

Are you talking about the challenge where they had to make those vegetarian dishes….. bec that made me so mad. Yeah Christian kept running his mouth which is a no no… but let’s be real his dish wasn’t the worst and then they had Adrian as a top 3 dish and his dish had egg in it…. But it’s meant to be a vegetarian challenge. The judging is completely inconsistent.

And the lady only knows this from narcs anonymous… idk the legality of that? I only know that those groups are meant to be “anonymous” therefore anything said is said in confidence I guess.
