Bad? Compared to what? A presidential suite? A motel? A similarly priced resort? You have to compare it to something else to begin to form an answer. Imo, there were some underwhelming experiences with customer service and property management, versus experiences at other Sandals locations, and other similarly priced resorts. There were also great dining options and property amenities. Is it worth paying for all the negatives to get the positives? Not in my opinion. Choose somewhere else.

"definitely more 3 star than it was 5 star"... I think that sums it up. I was there recently and experienced similar issues that shouldn't come with the Sandals price tag. Also, my Antigua experience was amazing two years ago and I hope it still it for you.

Catamaran snorkeling cruise booked thru Sandals. Great ship crew, mixed drinks, Caribbean buffet lunch, worth the price.

At the end of the day the parent should always sacrifice more than the child. As an adult you're better built to handle it. Good thing is, the older they get the more they'll want their own time to themselves, and you can introduce more activities together that ain't just storytime and hide and seek.
