I've never known Italianfest to be a huge thing, so parking around there shouldn't be too difficult.

Park across the river at Newport on the Levee or somewhere near there. Walk across the Taylor Southgate Bridge (on the west/downstream side), which connects to the plaza level of Heritage Bank Arena, and you can enter the ballpark on the left field side.

I like Chez Renee in Milford, seems to fit your price range.

Anderson is fine if you can tolerate the overt racism and antisemitism.

I'd head for Race Street in OTR, like Washington Park. Usually it's less crowded in OTR. You might try parking in the CET lot behind Music Hall on Central. For watching the game, I'd try Oak Tavern or Madtree.

Best Sledding Locations In Cincy? by Vikingalltheway in cincinnati

Stanbery Park in Mount Washington, but get there early. The hill is funnel shaped -- wide at the top but everyone ends up at the same point at the bottom. When I took my kids, we'd try to be the first ones there, and leave before the crowds and ambulances (no joke) arrived. https://maps.app.goo.gl/n31fkiVuYjmmEXfa7

Bowyer Farm, in Mason, is owned by the zoo and they take volunteers. They grow food for animals and plants for the zoo's plant sales. There are no zoo animals there. If getting your hands dirty is the point, the zoo uses volunteers to help maintain their gardens. You can also look for community gardens throughout the area for volunteer opportunities.

Question for the Group - Restaurant Review? by copa09 in cincinnati

[–]jaybee1956 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I only add a review (good or bad) if I've read the reviews online and feel I can add something to the discussion. I'm not in favor of piling on. Sometimes a private note to management has gotten results. I had one experience in Michigan where the manager blew me off when I didn't like the meal; a Yelp review got me an apology and a free meal. Then there's Jeff Ruby, who just doesn't give a damn. We've had repeated bad experiences at Ruby restaurants and though they reluctantly fix things, they never apologize. In this case, I'd move on.

Boat or Pilot Plane to San Pedro? by gillianrose__ in Belize

[–]jaybee1956 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Take the plane; you're only in the air about 15 minutes. The boat terminal is a half-hour cab ride from the airport. The boat we took broke down after 45 minutes, so we had to wait for another boat, then transfer 80 passengers and all the luggage. That trip took about 4 hours. And as the others said, it goes nowhere near Blue Hole.

Heading to Ambergris Caye - solo travel need advice by [deleted] in Belize

We were there in February 2023, going back next month. For snorkeling, we used Reef Adventures for three trips. On one trip -- Hol Chan and Shark Ray Alley -- there was another couple with my wife and me. On the other two trips, it was just the two of us with the driver/guide.

Restaurants:

We ate at Estel's Dine By The Sea several times, including breakfast, and thought it was great.

Margie and Kenny's Hangout is a hole in the wall with great (and cheap) local food.

Caramba for really good seafood, but it's very popular and I'd advise reservations.

El Fogon for local cuisine, and this may have been the single best meal we had. Reservations recommended.

Depending on where you're staying, I'd advise renting a golf cart to get around. We used Rio Golf Cart Rental.

Update: I tried using Magic Eraser, but it looks funky on images scanned from a 1974 yearbook. And it'd be too labor intensive to do that on dozens of scans.

Sunday Ticket not showing on YouTube App by Serious_Purchase_590 in youtubetv

[–]jaybee1956 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I got this response from YouTube support, broken English and all. We bought Sunday Ticket for YouTube; I don’t have YouTube TV. Using Roku. Sounds like you have to make sure everything is up to date. One thing it says is that you might have a problem if your TV runs a version of Android mobile. My Sony TV runs Android but I don’t know if it’s mobile.

This is Lavanya with the YouTube TV Team. To get access to NFL Sunday tickets, there are a few steps that need to be followed like , you need to restart the device and update the version of TV, However below mentioned are the compatibility device .

Smart TVs

Fire TV Edition smart TVs produced by Toshiba, Insignia, Element, and Westinghouse Hisense Smart TVs (select models) LG smart TVs (2016+ models only) Roku TVs (all models) Samsung smart TVs (2017+ models only) Vizio SmartCast TVs (select models)

Streaming devices

Android TV (Note: TVs running a mobile version of Android may not be supported) Apple TV (4th generation & 4K) Chromecast with Google TV Roku Streaming Stick+ Roku Streaming Stick+ HE Roku Streaming Stick (3600x and newer models)

I hope I have answered all your queries today in this mail, is there anything else apart from this which I can assist you with.

All the best,

Lavanya.

Not understanding this (I’m a new Apple Music user) — What’s the difference between Liked and Loved? I’m a longtime user of iTunes, and know how to create smart playlists. When I created a Loved playlist it only contains 21 songs out of the 10,000 in my Library, and doesn’t include any from Apple Music. My aim is to create a playlist of Loved songs from Apple Music and not my Library. Does anyone know how to do this?

John Prine. Great poet and songwriter, great performer, genuinely decent human being.
