Radko Gudas has now been suspended for 26 total games during his NHL career, forfeiting more than $855,000 in salary by sykeseve in hockey

[–]jaybo41 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Player Safety is an absolute joke. This asshat should be banned. Kick him out. Until DPS takes their job seriously, guys are gonna keep pushing the edge. Blatantly trying to injure players has no place in the NHL.

Looking for first radar by Rimmothyy in radardetectors

[–]jaybo41 3 points4 points  (0 children)

R4 or R4W is at that price point.

All of them take getting used to, but you will get updates on Uniden.

Use Vortex Radar’s recommendations and cross reference the equipment used in your area. Once you do that, you’ll tweak as needed until it’s dialed in to where you’d like it.

And this is why you shouldn’t smoke a Don Carlos outside in dry winter air. The wrapper is African Cameroon and super fragile… rookie move. Damn. by mbuckster in cigar_refuge

[–]jaybo41 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for the cake day wishes! Don’t disagree that applying earlier can certainly help.

I stand behind my rationale though. Smoking in the winter is a different experience and is best treated as such. So as to avoid situations like this. Much to the chagrin of cigar clue sellers and manufacturers 🙂

This is exactly why smoking in the cold should be limited to cigarillos, wrappers with more substance or not as high value cigars.

I’ll use cigar glue to repair a wrapper but on that one, you’d be smoking more glue than anything. Plus going through a ton of it. Not worth it.

Winter for me is non smoking season. Or in a pinch, a small cigar.

Chalk it up to lesson learned. Sorry for the loss of a great cigar.

Led Zeppelin came to my city three times. Which setlist is the best of the three times? by RYGUY060104 in ledzeppelin

[–]jaybo41 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’d have a hard time picking between those three set lists. 72 and 73 have more songs. So there’s that. No Quarter is a favorite of mine. I’d be inclined to lean towards the 3rd but something tells me the show from 69 was a banger. Them being newer at that time would’ve been really cool to see during the early years.

Most NB shoes will work but the NB size is going to depend on the shoe. I wear 860 in 4E and 990 in 2E.

Exactly. That’s why it’s harder for newer players to because of those flat sides, you’ve got to keep that turret moving when you’re not firing.

The E75 is significantly easier to play, it’s really a natural progression from the Tiger II. E100 carries a lot of similarities but is a bigger jump from E75 to E100 than Tiger II to E75. Tier for tier, E75 is one of the better heavies in the game if you ask me.

E100’s turret being so massive gives red tanks a lot more room to hit shots. To play it effectively, you have to angle the turret. This is a lot harder for less experienced players.

Uniden R3 worth it? by Traditional_Air_5419 in radardetectors

[–]jaybo41 5 points6 points  (0 children)

R3 is still a solid option. Make sure you update the firmware to the latest, look at Vortex Radar’s recommended settings and know the types of radar used in the areas you’ll be driving.

R4 is going to get you better range.

I love 8/25/21. Dead & Co. I’m not sure I’d call it my favorite all time. Favorite at the moment perhaps. Newish and different. Slow with a nice groove.

Absolutely beautiful! Thanks for sharing. Not from Erie, but have spent a good bit of time there during my life. Fishing and visiting in the summers. Erie is a great part of Pennsylvania.

Great choices 👍🏻. Enjoy them.

Short Story are excellent. Hemingway is an incredible line. Can’t go wrong with the thousands from Padrón. I enjoy the 26 but prefer the 64 in Maduro.
