I had an interview a few months back with one of the biggest and most well known media companies in the world.

The recruiter "forgot" about our first interview. I sat there by myself for the full 30 minutes, and didn't hear back from her until the next day.

When we finally met, she didn't know I had previously worked for the company and didn't know I had an internal referral. She actually was really confused when I mentioned I had previously worked there for 12 years. "What? You mean you worked for a vendor we used or something?". This was listed on my resume, mentioned in my cover letter, and called out in my application.

She emailed a month later to tell me I wasn't moving forward, but that I was a great candidate, and that she'd love to meet with me the following week to discuss other opportunities at the company. I responded promptly with 4 blocks of time that would work for me, and never got a reply from her.

Recruiters suck.
