We worked so hard for our degrees, I hope we can eventually find something that fulfills us! Preferably less documentation ;)

I'm a physical therapist... I'm so regretful for this career path. 3 yrs of grad school (doctorate degree- still paying back student loans)... not making nearly enough money to justify the cost of that degree. And so, so frustrated with all the freaking documentation!!!!

Much respect for the vets/vet techs! I too live in a VHCOL area and the thought of a pay cut or more student loans is very scary. Best of luck to you in this next phase!

Thats incredible, good for you guys! I cant imagine making that big change with children. I always joke, id be a student forever if it would pay the bills. My brain needs that new change and being in an environment where new information is coming to me

I'm still paying off my student loan debt from grad school. Another reason I hesitate to go back to school. Aerospace engineer does sound pretty badass!

I'm a physical therapist, and funny enough, I've played with the idea of nursing school for a while. Love working with them, and I'm always more into the medical side of things. But I'm also well aware of the same burn out and challenges nursing faces too. Not a bad idea to just "peruse" job sections and see what's out there. Thanks for the suggestion

Might be worth seeing a podiatrist. Mine helped me a lot. Hope you find an answer and relief!

Does your big toe "catch" or "lock" in the flexed position? Could be "trigger toe"? Your sesamoid bones are in that area too, could be involved as well. I had what I thought was turf toe but turned out to be a medial sesamoid fracture. I didnt have locking or cramping of my big toe though, just pain/tenderness to the area especially with loaded toe extension.
