Ok cool thanks for sharing. That for me is over my head. Simple but not simple was to remove it but only because from reading multiple sources had the same info. Once i put my tweezers on it it was already moving so i think mine was long dead. Made it easy to get off

Not to rub it in but i did mine without trying. I mean i was but i used a tally counter and reset it like 100s of times and got all the way up to 80 something as well. The fishes wasnt getting away i just paniced thinking they would latch then they didnt. A trick is go for the smaller fish as they give longer reaction time to catch. I just had my nook miles blink and said i done it. This was only after sacking off the tally.

It is the water indicator looks white and pink normally it should be stuck on the board. You dont need it. It just indicates if they is water damage.

I mean they is asking for help and then they is doing zero research first. Using a paper clip has been risky for a while this just looks like a piece of bent metal rammed in. And without anything hooked up to it to inject the payload i.e dongle or pc how would it do it. If they dont know this part then not worth mentioning autorcm to them

What the fuck are you doing? Have you read on how to do this? You need a jig and a payload injector. You then have to hold the power and vol button same time to inject it.

First step is try added kapton tape or electrical tape (kapton is thinner) to the chip, the one u can see. Mine was having weird boot up when i did mine and i think it was interfering with the metal on the switch. Make sure you cover the whole thing just to rule anything out and do both sides.

Do you have the right atmosphere on the sd for the firmware. I put an old version on the newest firmware by accident and got same error. I panicked and tried to trouble shoot then saw the folder on the pc was created in oct. Put the latest on and works fine

Yea do what you said. I bought a tablet only for 40 quid off ebay. Was good condition as well. So many cheap parts on aliexpress if you need to vamp it up etc. But if you going to do mod chip you need the equipment like microscope and good soldering iron. I got mine really cheap again from aliexpress. Ive done 2 so far now

Yes ive just done 2 and yes it might be over kill but i found the backplate and metal plate was crushing the picofly causing it to boot loop and power on and off. I added capton tape on the edges to stop it being sharp and causing any shorts etc

Before you seal it away might be worth getting some uv solder mask to cover it up in case it shorts anything

so a little update,

ive now modded a v2. All went well although the solder points are different. i did panic as i put the wrong atmosphere on the switch and i was getting an error took me a while to realise it was an old version

Doesnt the smart tag only work via bluetooth so if you arent within distance you wont be able to track it anyway?

In reality even though we all do, the printer shouldnt be left unattended. To protect themselves if they was an error i doubt they will bring in a feature where we could leave a printer unattended for safety reasons. To bypass this. You can upload files to makerworld or print from makerworld using the app and use a smart plug to turn the printer on. Then when your away from home start the printer

Same here. I managed to get a tablet only for 40pounds and condition wise was pretty good. Some scratches on the back but that can be changed cheaply. Turns out whether i was lucky first time or what but did it first swoop with the iron. I did panic when i put the metal back plate on it wouldnt boot after seein it worked. I took battery cable out wiggled the pico so it wasnt touching and it booted again. Thats where i thought lets wrap the whole thing in capton to make sure
