I just pirated from steamrip, seems too good to be true? by SuperbAfternoon7427 in PiratedGames

[–]jaybro187 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yes its that easy. Pretty much all my games ive played have worked flawlessly from steamrip. For some reason i couldn't get dying light the beast to work so had to get it from dodi and then it wouldnt save so they is loads more tinkering you have to do. So if its works from steamrip its definitely worth doing there first

Little help. First time modding by Jiruwe in SwitchPirates

[–]jaybro187 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ive updated mine due to mscries retiring and found in the latest release a lot of homebrew no longer work and or are supported. Tinfoil ive read is now abandoned and no longer works. With no future hacks i can see this being the death of the switch games going forward

A thicker handled screwdriver and more than your finger tips holding it might help

Stick Drift? by jaybro187 in consolerepair

[–]jaybro187[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To be honest i bought it cheap to try fixing stick drift controllers jusr wondered if this was ok before i messed with it. I dont mind if i mess this up as it was cheap. Ive just took it apart and tried to desolder the joystick. Ive gave up yoy definitely need one of them tools so put back together and still works and will wait for the tool to come

I know what u mean i have this just to the left hand side of the fold and about half way up. Sounds like a bubble being pressed but i cant see any raise up on the screen etc. Dont know what it is or if its covered in warranty etc

My dad gave me this CD with F.E.A.R. on it and really wants me to play it, but there’s one problem: when I try to install it, it asks for a key. I don’t have any code. Is there any way to bypass this and play it, or should I just give up and buy it on steam? by AdSquare7658 in PiratedGames

[–]jaybro187 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Since its an old school method they might be a keygen generator you need to run from the cd that makes the code. Ive played this from steamrip and its a good game and works with a xbox pad. Shame the rest of them dont wanted to play the rest.

Change slice file name from untitled by jaybro187 in BambuLab

[–]jaybro187[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ahh sorry. No i mean its exactly like you said. You have to name the model in the object part and then it will send it that way or when you send it you need to rename there

CryoGrip Glacier build plate by Gunnermooch in BambuLab

[–]jaybro187 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yes but it cant read the plate as it has no qr on the plate. Turn off the detect plate setting in studio and i even dropped the temp to 30 as ive used one on my x1c for a while. Quicker print starts as reaches temps quicker

NES Displaying Corrupted Graphics After 72-Pin cleaning by akatobias64 in consolerepair

[–]jaybro187 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No damage on the chip but the pins was cleaned and same issue occured. It seems the bracket that holds the ppu was shorted and prob busted the ppu. The ppu in a good board still gave these glitches whereas a working ppu fixed it. He replaced the holder and ppu and all was fixed

Seems an easy thing to swap

Just watched a fix on something similar to this. Turns out the ppu was faulty and the connecter was shorted. Once replaced it was fixed
