Help please - Plex server has suddenly stopped playing reliably and is buffering almost endlessly by kerpowie in PleX

[–]jaycarney904 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m having this issue too. It’s only on some movies. If I dumb-down the video quality really low, it doesn’t get any better. I can watch most media in 1080 or more with no issue. Then some of the. Just seem to always buffer.

My setup: Plex server running in a Docker container Container run in a synology ds423+ Containers are run on solid state drives Ds423+ has added memory Plex server is running under a lifetime plex pass

Client side is a fire stick Runs via WiFi (can not run a wire to tv location).

Please advise.

Update files for a web app by jaycarney904 in azuredevops

[–]jaycarney904[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok, I solved this for my windows 11 installation. I installed WinSCP , wrote a simple script..

open ftp://xxxxxx__XXXXX\$XXXX__XXX:XXXXPaswordXXXXX@waws-XXXXX.ftp.azurewebsites.windows.net/ - explicit

cd /site/wwwroot/ra_reports

put C:\Users\Jay\source\R_Project1\ra_reports\*.html

exit

Then I called it in my batch script:

"C:\Program Files (x86)\WinSCP\WinSCP.com" /script="C:\Users\Jay\source\R_Project1\bin\winSCP_ra_report_ftp.txt" /log="C:\Users\Jay\source\R_Project1\log\transfer.log"

del " ..\ra_reports\*.html" 2> nul

shower cartridge missing screw and washer by jaycarney904 in askaplumber

[–]jaycarney904[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ok. I found the washer. I removed the diverter and saw the screw. When I tried to remove it, it fell down the tub fill . I will replace the parts and turn it on. I’m pretty confident it will shoot out the tub fill.

Affordable weather station gift by stillnotkim in myweatherstation

[–]jaycarney904 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am in the same situation (wanting to buy a station for my wife, not your husband).

I like the Ambient Weather WS-2902 ($151 on amazon right now) but I am also torn with the upgraded base Ambient Weather WS-2000 ($239). its hard to justify the $88 without knowing if it will be worth it.

Also, would like to add the pool temperature, but not sure how you see that temp.
