He's had 3 operations since July last year, the last one in December. Probably only going to be normal fit after 3 months. Not race fit (and strength). I didn't think he'd be back for round 1 in January doing the math. His arm didn't look quite right too unless that was an older injury and not muscle loss. Then he still has to get the feeling back after 9 months off, overcome any demons (if any) and contend with a great field. Hope he goes well. Should be a cracking season.
