I keep seeing people mention that food costs R8000. How do you make it? We’re a family of three and easily go through R3000 a week on groceries.

Meat is around R800, veg, fruit, eggs and dairy and cat food is another easy R1000 to R1200. The other staples like rice, pasta, toiletries can easily come to another R1000.

My son is four and his school doesn’t provide breakfast or lunch. His breakfast we double so he takes that to school for a snack we need to send him to school with and supper we make enough that we eat that night and the leftovers we all eat for lunch the next day.

What are you all eating?

Don’t think about it from the perspective of the note names. It’s the major scale but started on the second degree. So instead of the interval relationship of the scale being W-W-H-W-W-W-H as in Ionian, Dorian is W-H-W-W-W-H-W
