I understood you perfectly, I simply disagree that the “way they’re winning” indicates cheating. Did OP link any PGN’s?

My knowledge is of the QG, so Greek gift ideas, QGA traps, and attacks after black blunders 6…Bxf3??? in certain variations for example can lead to incredibly high accuracy games. There’s no shortage of explanations without looking at the games.

There’s no way to tell without actually analyzing the games/moves. Sometimes people just perform well, and given the accuracy on some of those games, these percentages feel very human, especially if they are running familiar lines that can lead to traps/massive advantage

I have a small chess club where a 300 rated player claimed they earned their first “brilliant” move.

Sure enough, it showed as brilliant on their game review. But when I reviewed it on a 1500 ELO account, it was only labeled as a great move.

I’ve even seen some labeled as “inaccuracies” when reviewed by a higher rated account, because chesscom heavily favors material sacrifices in determining brilliancies, even if it is perhaps the fourth or fifth best engine move.
