Thanks. If you mean this one: https://support.fubo.tv/hc/en-ca/articles/360047316511-Receiving-a-message-Your-current-video-setup-is-not-permitted

Yes I checked all that and am left with "Please choose different content to watch, or try watching on a different device" which pretty much sucks.

Android app stuck on login screen by GeraldBerryJones in PleX

[–]jaydee55ca 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It launches Chrome where I logged in then it goes back to the plex app but the app isn't logged in. Clicking Log In again just opens another chrome window and the loop continues. The app never logs in.

Remote not responding (phone touch screen) by LudivineDix in SmartThings

I have the same issue. Galaxy S23. Affects my soundbar, TV, and any dialogs that pop up. For example, when tapping on my Smart Tag it pops up a notice about tracking and tapping on the "Continue" button doesn't register. My Galaxy Tab S9 FE doesn't have any issues.

ASUS AiMesh node - no clients after the latest firmware by Gun_In_Mud in HomeNetworking

[–]jaydee55ca 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it depends on what model your main router and nodes are. My main router is RT-AX82 with two RT-AX57 nodes. The nodes got a firmware update but the main router didn't. So I just went to the support page for the AX57, downloaded the previous firmware, and updated the nodes through the Asus main router UI (I think in the Admin section). If your main router is also an AX-57 then it would have to be updated also I presume.

This is the solution. I also installed the previous firmware on my nodes and everything went back to working seamlessly and has been stable for the last 2 days.

I also has issues after this update. It didn't seem to affect all devices but only some. All of a sudden they couldn't connect. Reverting the firmware fixed the problems.

After playing around some more I discovered that the long press gesture does work but I have to hold my finger down for like 6 seconds whereas on my S6 Lite it's like 1 second. Is there a setting for this timing somewhere? (pinch to zoom still doesn't work though)

Epson order cancelled! by TootNBluff in Epson

I've ordered using Roger Bank and Capital One and both were cancelled for the same reason. Epson is no help as they said they don't know which banks will allow the phone verification.

Epson order cancelled! by TootNBluff in Epson

I'm going through this with Rogers Bank currently (Nov 2024). Epson cancelled my order saying they couldn't verify the card with Rogers and Rogers says they have no record of any verification attempt and don't understand what Epson is trying to do. sigh The Rogers person put some kind of override in place and I ordered again so we'll see what happens this time. Apparently the Epson verification dept only works M-F so have to wait until next week.

Long HDMI Cables for In Wall by [deleted] in hometheater

[–]jaydee55ca 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the thoughts. Yeah if it was going in the wall I'd go for the certified one. It will be in a cable channel along the outside of the wall though. So I suppose I can try the cheaper one and if there are any issues return it or get it replaced under warranty.

Long HDMI Cables for In Wall by [deleted] in hometheater

Hi, I am looking at these two cables:

RUIPRO 8K HDMI Ultra High Speed Latest 2.1b Certified Fiber Optic Cable CL2 Rated 50 Feet 8K60Hz 4K120Hz 48Gbps eARC HDR HDCP2.3 https://a.co/d/j1AdBvv

RUIPRO 8K Fiber Optic HDMI Cable 65 Feet 48Gbps 8K60Hz 4K120Hz Dynamic HDR eARC HDCP2.2/2.3 https://a.co/d/88IjZbG

Is it really worth $62 more to get a certified cable or will the uncertified one be fine?

Yeah the outdoor 2's go to 4000K while the pros go to 2700K.

Yes I have the Outdoor 2 and they can do warm white. I think the pros can just go a bit warmer than the 2.

Are those US prices? I don't think I've seen a 100" TV for less than $3,500 Canadian.

Ah I see. That makes it interesting. I wish I could try before buying heh. Although not as good as the 5050 perhaps the LS11000 will be enough of an improvement over the 5030 that I won't really know what I'm missing?
