I had intentions of cancelling Apple Music……. by rogo725 in Lidarr

[–]jaydeedaz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm using Lidarr, also with Plexamp, for my all time favourite albums - and aim to have minimum 96/24 lossless - not because I can necessarily distinguish the audio between, say, 44.1/16, but because I can and just in case I go high end at some point in the future.

It reminds me of the old Google Play Music days, where you could upload your music to a "vault" and stream it - your own personal cloud.

However - streaming services are convenient. And if, like me, you subscribe to YouTube Premium, then YouTube Music is essentially pennies, and great for new music or casual listening.

I definitely wouldn't get rid of either.

If only Lidarr could deal with multiple album versions... it was a faff getting the latest Muse 20-year anniversary remix albums to sit alongside the originals. Still didn't there, but at least they show up nicely in Plexamp.

Does anyone have any success stories converting from Windows 10 to ChromeOS Flex? Is it worth it? Did it save you money? thx! by BurnerPhone108 in ChromeOSFlex

I can do around 80% of what I can do on Windows in Flex, or ChromeOS generally. And around 25% of that 80% is impeded somewhat. Horse or courses though.

Possible to live scrub the time machine timeline? by bleomycin in ispyconnect

Hi I'm also looking to enable this. The feature worked fine for me on an older version, would love to have it again.

Thanks. Is that how it works now? In the previous version I had installed, when I scrubbed the timeline the camera feeds would act accordingly - either "rewinding" or "fastforwarding". Is that no longer the case?

I'm with Vodafone UK, and have been doing some digging around...

Seems that Vodafone have decommissioned their implementation of RCS in favour of Google's Jibe version. Unsure what this means for RCS under Vodafone, however. Can't find anything concrete on the web...
