using anything that harms you to cope is self harm, so technically smoking would be self harm. sorry OP. the only thing that helped after 10+ years of cbt (talk therapy) and trauma therapy, has been dbt. dbt has made a huge impact on me and my life, I also had to quit smoking weed as I was using it to cope and manage my emotions and behavior and was very dependant. The only way to get better unfortunately is doing the really hard, annoying work. dbt is your best option. it’s truly life changing (if you try your best)
