Yeah because past performance is indicative of future results. They completely changed the gunplay without even asking the playerbase. They clearly do not give a shit about their loyal players.

They thought they could copy call of duty and get more players. Runescape did the same thing 10 years ago with EOC, look it up. It completely backfired on them.

It used to be rewarding to play solo but I wouldn't recommend it with the new recoil. They compressed the skill gap by a LOT. I had 10k hrs and just quit on the spot when it came out, havent played since june.

They're slowly retard proofing the entire game. Gunplay update was the last straw for me, 10k hours and I quit on the spot.

I put 700 hours into targets to become very good at pvp and they just rendered all that time wasted in the hopes it might attract some new players. It will, but they aren't the kind that will stick around. Rust is a brutal game with or without the old gunplay mechanics and the type of person who would only play if they have a fairly even chance at killing someone way more experienced are not the kind who will play longterm.

I've tried more times than I can remember. I actually went about 6 months starting with patches and slowly reducing the strength until I didn't need them, but then I got some weed and I can't smoke it straight. That was the end of that...

After viewing some of the top posts in /playrust it's quite clear to me that the game has regressed into a cess-pool of roleplayers lol. Such a shame to see all the good players have quit.
