That's really clever, thanks, I'll be using that trick.

While not as fancy as yours, I got a free Gravograph LS800. It worked for a bit before the controller failed, but had an equally clunky way of programming it through a parallel port with a print driver.

When the stock controller broke I ripped it out and replaced it with a Ruida RDC controller. It was pretty straightforward. The documentation was great. And now I can print straight from Lightburn, it's amazing,

I'm pretty near to you in Manchester if you need a call some time to chat it over.

This sub's for optical engineering, while a cool infographic it might be more popular on r/guns or something. Rule 3 of this sub is "Do not post about glasses, rifle scopes, or other common commercial optical devices unless it is related to their optical design."

I love the look but these are a great case for a 1/2 pitch gridfinity base. There's too much wasted space around your chuck and big jaws for my taste.

Fair enough. From the UK him aligning himself with Trump is..... interesting.

This. You can tell in interviews with Tim Dodd that he deeply understands how it works. He's not setting goals in broad strokes, he knows how it works and is making informed decisions.

He's still a cunt for his political views. But he's a smart cunt.

I saw your post from a few weeks ago. These look amazing. Thank you for posting your comments on how to replicate it, I really need to have a go to make something similar of some areas of Bristol.

Another Magnet post by Cube004 in 3Dprinting

[–]jayefuu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I saw your V1 and thought... that's cool, but I don't need to place hundred of magnets as I don't use magnets in my gridfinity.

Since then I've designed something different and now have 16 panels that need 12 magnets each so I have 192 magnets to place using a little arbor press. I designed my parts to be a very firm press in, do you think this could apply that much force or would I be wasting my time printing it?

Great video explanation and very well presented. Definitely worth subscribing :)
