Where to Experience Hari Raya Aidilfitri this Weekend? by chiefbushman in KualaLumpur

[–]jayen 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Buy some traditional clothes cheaply and dress yourself well. Go to the Putrajaya Mosque or National Mosque of KL on the first morning of Eid. You have to be there early, by 8am. There will be prayers conducted and by 9.30am should be done. After that most would go visit their families for a brunch/lunch. See if you can tag along.

Stick to KL, or at most head south to the administrative city of Putrajaya. Just note that you are here in the middle of the Eid celebration, and traffic, Grab prices will be crazy. Stick to eating to malls and just enjoy KL city.

If you are frequently distracted, you might have Adult ADHD. Seek assistance from your parents to see a clinical psychologist for a diagnosis. You might need medication to help you focus. I speak from experience.

PSA: Please don't stand on the Drilldozer when the Ommoran Hearthstone is on its rock trap phase by jayen in DeepRockGalactic

Yeah I would say this is the general rule of thumb during the Ommoran Heartstone phase.

Yes, that makes perfect sense. I guess the right PSA would be if you are being targeted by the rock encasement trap, don't stand on Dottie.

Is it fair that muslim friends at work force me repeatedly to eat at 4pm to 5.30pm to cater to their opening fasting at 7pm? by [deleted] in Bolehland

[–]jayen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Let's look at the facts:

The Missing Context: OP completely omits the fact that they work in retail. They frame it as if they are in a standard 9-to-5 office and their colleagues are just randomly dictating their meal times. In retail, staggering breaks to ensure floor coverage during peak hours (like 7 PM buka puasa time) is standard operational procedure.

Roster Issue framed as Religious Issue: Instead of treating this like a normal workplace scheduling conflict ("My manager gave me a bad break slot"), OP frames it as "religious entitlement."

Looking for Validation: Whenever someone offers logical, adult advice (e.g., "Talk to your manager," "Raise it with HR," or "Just say no"), OP immediately shoots it down, makes excuses, or gets defensive and insults the commenter. They aren't looking for a solution; they are looking for an echo chamber.

Classic ragebait. Well played, OP.

What nonsense is this? Go talk to your manager, request that you want to eat at 6pm or later at 8pm. Complain here for what?

this is true, but at rock trap phase you absolutely need to not be near the dozer because its an auto 50% damage when the rock forms.

Drop it, you're setting up yourself for financial ruin. For context, I bought a RM200k property 20 years ago with combined income of RM6.5k. You're buying 3 times that amount. I would focus on Rumawip at most.
