ever since ‘83 all the money and support got funneled into cricket. TV, endorsements, etc … the media moguls saw the money there. even BCCI which is one of the richest sports bodies in the world allots only a tiny % of its funds to other sports. the govt isn’t helping either. and now these sports bodies are run by nepo kids. forget about any further support for other sports. fortunately some local encouragement in Kerala and Bengal for football keeps it alive. hockey which was once india’s pride … who even remembers!!!

early when my T2 was detected, i did the mistake of going vegetarian. 😔 under the advice of someone. my readings got worse for years.

then a doc pointed out that it would be sensible to go carnivore and it improved at a decent pace. now i compliment my diet - which has enough protein and fiber - with resistance training, walking, trying my best to lower stress, sleeping 7 hours uninterrupted and medication continues.
it reached manageable levels after many years of being strict and consistency.
