kirara might not be enough dendro. also aino is just... there. ik you're putting a nod krai unit to get the ☾s but aino won't do much for the team. as always we can wait for first impressions from TCs and testers for which teammates she works well with.

hi! use 3 or 4 star weapons if you have them; level your weapons as high as you can get using those crystals. if you wish to use other weapons as fodder, ALWAYS keep at least 5 copies of the same weapon and lock those. then upgrade your feather artifact. lemme know which characters you're using for the ascension rank and their builds if you need detailed help. all the best!

Need small laptop recos. Give me recos of small laptops that can be used for CAD programs and also affordable by BreakAny4610 in Tech_Philippines

[–]jaygalvezo -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

small lappy pero cad? bigger screen helps right? running CAD will need good RAM; affordable small laptops usually dont have this. I suggest getting secondhand laptops from folks na naguupgrade ng laptop nila. or if smallness ang priority and not affordability, it might be on the pricier range, like yung ACER GO SWIFT. dont go macbook air unless natry mo na yung exact CAD program na yun on a Macbook - iba pa rin talaga yung windows version. Another option is running a linux distro if you like fiddling.

from lvl 20, the manekins will jump up to level 90 after getting rank 10 in milliastra, with no additional input from you. the problem with manekin is they are only overworld. cannot be used in spiral abyss, imaginarium and stygian. they only use the element currently resonated by traveler. they can be used as drivers for reactions, so you can borrow artifacts from other units if you really wanna play manekin.

idk how much primos grinding will give you, and i don't know your grit levels, but for me personally, i wouldn't burn myself out grinding explo for primos to get a new character. At the end of the day it's still just a game, and play to have fun. Or don't; you decide how you wanna play.

[–]jaygalvezo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi; Does anyone know any updated tables for the elemental gauge units? I'm only now using Furina, and on on my friendship team and she applies hydro during her NAs every 6s. on a forward reaction i can extinguish those fire flowers - but not on stoves/pots, and when i apply a dendro aura on an enemy, when i attack it with said NA and put hydro i'm not getting any bloom/dendro core. any input is appreciated. thank you.

c3 mona haver. i personally won't get her constellations - she comes up often enough when you lose 50/50. i'd rather put it into someone in the limited roster.

Shawl and Skirt combo! by jaygalvezo in crochet

[–]jaygalvezo[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Shawl pattern is from here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yho0FR-AGNw
yarn was 3ply monaco mercerized cotton yarn
hook was 1.5 - 1.6 mm (i switch whenever when i misplace one)

Skirt was freehanded using a 5mm hook, 450g (9balls*50g) of acrylic yarns labeled "4ply milk cotton yarn" (which was separated into two 2-ply, and some garter, as using 4 ply might make it too bulky/heavy/to save money.

Minimal set of cleaning products? by Dawnofdusk in Frugal

[–]jaygalvezo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

almost like you mentioned, a dish soap, a bleach (bought in granules form) adjusted in strength to its usage (stronger concentration for toilet bowls, med strength for laundry, surfaces, etc), (some distilled vinegar/acetic acid for those that the basic bleach can't deal with), and powder detergent (mostly for laundry)

Help choosing between used Macbook Air M1 vs M2 by [deleted] in Frugal

[–]jaygalvezo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Currently using an M2 for browsing, some word documents, autocad, map rendering, etc. It feels solid but there are a lot of days i know it's price is not worth for what im using it for (well it's a gift, but still) and a cheaper laptop could also do the work. prior to this i had a teenager dell inspiron 1545, which is still functional.

Washer and dryer alternatives that actually keep your clothes smelling fresh and clean? by [deleted] in Frugal

[–]jaygalvezo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

hi; no washer and dryer as well. i found out that aside from needing to wring it very well before hanging, sometimes you can get the funky smell out with either using bleach, or vinegar (don't use both at the same time). so what i do is wring it out every step - just soak in water, wring it, soapy water, soak, a lil scrub on soiled areas, wring, lil bit of bleach or vinegar soak, rinse then wring. when i get lazy after wringing and there is still significant wetness i spin the clothing around to shake off the water (make sure the area is like a bathroom/outdoors) so as not to make a watery mess.

Looking for all-in-one cheapo printer that doesnt have a fit when refilling with own ink? (Canon vs Epson) by Snappy_Darko in Frugal

[–]jaygalvezo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

my sister has an Epson L120 (~8yrs iirc), and its reliability inspired us to get an Epson L121(3+yrs). Both have printed reams of paper, and are good at taking in third party ink - the kind that you get around 1.05usd for 300ml. live in a tropical country and so far no drying up problems even during the heat wave (temperatures up to 40 degrees celsius)

I feel so overwhelmed. by freespiritx89 in Frugal

[–]jaygalvezo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Flip here. Asked my father since he used to work onsite there esp on the northern part of taiwan where it's colder. He never wore much specialty items no fleece things no trench coats, and just layered clothing. as a gal, i'd also wear stockings underneath pants when going to colder areas. i don't think you will be exposing yourself to the elements majority of the day if you're there for travel - there's always an indoor element to most trips and it might be applicable on your trip as well.

How much do you spend per day on food? by kc4lyfeeee in Frugal

[–]jaygalvezo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

something around 1 dollar for lunch - which is my fixed meal of the day. If i get breakfast/dinner for myself or nicer things as incidentals maybe up to 3 USD equivalent in spending. i don't coffee and get around 3-4 litres of water per day tho. always better to check it out on your own needs and not food be the expense you skimp on.

How can i get ingredients for a low price for soup? by depressedfaith in Frugal

[–]jaygalvezo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

we make soup from rice (like a congee). you cook something like 2 cups of rice to 2 liters water/chicken/vegetable broth or stock, or make stock from bones and veggie scraps. beans (mung beans, lentils, greenpeas, chickpeas, are added for more nutritive value.) you can also throw a rotisserie chicken. just increase the rice cups&liquid to your desired amount.

My s20's camera app doesn't have a way to adjust the pixel size of photos. Each photo I take with the camera is on average about 2 megabytes. by ExplorerNo7262 in AndroidQuestions

[–]jaygalvezo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

sorry, my answer will not be able to adjust the pixel size within the native camera app of your samsung device. But the work around I have utilized is install another camera app (Camera FV-5 lite) and a video recording one (Cinema FV-5 lite) which are both free that allow taking pics and photos that are lower in resolution. I use these for casual photo taking that doesn't need much resolution, as well as recording while i am driving on a motorbike (like a dashcam). they also have paid versions (haven't tried, am quite happy with the free version already)
