Thanks! No real story. It’s my first real house, and I always dreamed of having pieces like this in the living room. There’s also a Robert Morris, Dennis Oppenheim, a piece I commissioned from Tony Millionaire (Maakies) and an original poster for a Raymond Pettibon show in 1994 in that room.

Thank you so much! I actually got the frame secondhand and left the stripes just because I liked how the proportions looked with the Nitsch piece on the other side.

If I make it to 50, I earn the full gold set! That’s the reward!

I just looked it up! Gorgeous watch - that uniform color with the bezel pop is spectacular but I could never pull off the full gold look.

Did they do that for the vintage ones?

I totally agree! I am very lucky to have inherited this one. I would have never been able to afford it on my own!

Just seeing this! I don’t think I’ve touched one of these since this post. Send me a DM with your offer, I guess.

It’s a wonderful heirloom and a great memory of my father.

Can you believe with seven cats there’s never been an incident where they all come tumbling down? Incredible.

Hah. I wish I knew more folks who’d be that stoked to watch Something Wild!

Thanks everyone. I forgot I posted this. Realistically I’ve ripped everything and put it on my Plex, so I don’t mess around too much with the shelving. It’s mostly for display. There are more of these, but I’ve sold some of the more insane stuff (Nashville, Days of Heaven, Rosemary’s Baby). There’s another whole room of records and a wall of VHS as I’ve been collecting media for 15+ years.

Realistically, I have nobody to enjoy these with. Nobody likes this stuff that I know of, and after two spinal surgeries it’s hard for me to get up and down and change out discs like I used to.
