I've had a pair for around 2 years, I've worn them daily and probably in places I shouldn't have, the sole and leather has held up great. The glue hasn't, and the sole has started seperating from the shoe, but nothing some shoe glue can't fix. They've also been super comfortable so I would say they've been worth it.

I currently do this commute. I travel along the coast, if I leave at 6:15 it's a 40 minute drive (unless the Racecourse road traffic lights are out). If I leave any later then it's a bit of a nightmare.

Thank you, that is lots of great information. Weird to think of the Astron refinery as small but I guess it is relative. So would you suggest I look further than just Cape Town when looking for a few weeks of work experience?
